Once Chris realizes that Barb isn't coming back, he goes into a catatonic state. The trolling ends forever.

If I know my Asperchu, Chris will simply put her in the refrigerator.

I honestly would not be surprised if he let her go for a few days and is simply happy he's able to sneak out of the house without a peep from Barb. He would probably be happy for the relief from what I am sure is a lot "CHRISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, MOMMA NEEDS OITMENT" type of calls.

Chris will probably be able to survive by himself after Barbs death, despite the financial mistakes he'll make initially.

However in the long run, a group home would be much better for him. But with the high functioning autism diagnosis, can he be accepted into a group home in Virginia? I know of areas where group homes will not accept people with only an Aspergers diagnosis since they are too "high functioning." Is Virginia possibly one of those places?

Resources in the US are stretched thin for these services. There are people in far worse shape than Chris, but the authorities will say "They'll be fiiiiine" to save a few bucks. In the eyes of the law, Chris is a grown man. He can write his own name, he understands basic adult stuff, even if he's bad at it, and (believe me, we've all asked at some point or another) his demented belief that his imaginary friends are real and give him advice is not sufficient evidence of diminished capacity.

That and the concept of emergencies seems to be pretty alien to him. He knows bad stuff happens, he can even see some stuff coming, but most of the time he has this weird view of the world like warped karma, he thinks since he's a good person bad things just won't happen to him since he doesn't deserve them to and if they do it's always someone else's fault, never his, hence he can still get someone else to pay for it. He's the hero of his story and in his stories bad things don't tend to happen to the hero unless they can be fixed in a matter of seconds.

And what with Chris's intake of mass media and television, he likely thinks all life's issues can be somehow remedied within a 23 minute span of storytelling.

It's just that he doesn't pay them well.

He pays them as well as any other person.
It's just that he's not fiscally responsible and every credit card he has is pretty much maxed out all the time.
He does pay everything he needs though, the minimum on every card and utilities and his car payments etc.
Chris keeps up with all the bills.

Whelp, looks like I need to do some more research.

I feel like we should have a "Common Misconceptions About Chris/Threads To Avoid Making" thread

That would be reasonable.
It seems that a lot of people get their info from the CWCki and take it literally.
There is a lot of information on the forums that hasn't been added to the Wiki and probably never will (especially since there are no sources other than "Marvin/Alec/Skyraider" said)

You can get solid info off the CWCki if you know how.

A couple techniques I use:
1. Claims in "articles" are usually sourced to first hand sources like videos, emails, chats, or phone calls. If you are considering adding something you read in an article into your set of beliefs about Chris, follow some links and read the source material. You will find out what is true, and what is exaggerated for humour.
2. The CWCki is pretty eager to list all of Chris fuckups. If a type of fuckup isn't mentioned, you can probably conclude it isn't one that Chris is prone to. The Chris and Money article describes Chris impulsive spending, his propensity to incur credit card debt, and his bizarre understanding of how the tugboat, the economy, and value work. But it doesn't describe him ever being delinquent on any bills or debts. You can be pretty confident that if Chris was prone to letting bills slide, having collection agencies after him, or having services shut off, that would be talked about. Since it's not mentioned, we can conclude that Chris understanding of finances extends to the point (but not much further) of knowing that there are some things that absolutely need to be paid no matter what.

You saw what happened when Bob died. When Barb dies, Christian will evolve into his final form.

Which would make a kickass horror movie.
