Chris, having completely lost touch with reality, will just blandly announce that she's been dimensionally merged and is still alive as a pony somewhere. Meanwhile, the corpse will be rotting in the next room.

Considering that the house will legally belong to the bank once Barb dies, regardless of how much money any of the Chandlers have (due to her incredible and rather avaricious [EDIT] SECOND mortgage decision) the bank would probably have to do something about that.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about Chris's living situation once the creditors finally descend on Barb's assets.

Does Barb have a life insurance policy?
I’m curious about this, because if she does, but has no will, can the credit card companies get the life insurance money when she dies?
Wouldn’t Barb need a will stating Chris as beneficiary?
I think the laws on this vary state to state?

It's just a normal mortgage. The ultimate result will be the same, though.

Does Barb have a life insurance policy?

No. She doesn't care what happens to Chris when she croaks. She would have cashed out any life insurance by now if she had one, and nobody is going to give any kind of decent term life policy to some old bat who has one foot in the grave already.

I don't think she got a reverse mortgage. I'm pretty sure it was a second mortgage.

My mistake, second mortgage. I edited my post. But that's my point- the ultimate result will be the same. He's in a very dangerous position once Barb departs.

I recently had a small realization re: Barb: She is already living her personal hell at the moment. Seriously, her entire post-Chris existence has been her punishment for whatever she did before she met Bob.

I mean, imagine raising an autistic child, helping him speak after a period of silence, then helping him through whatever school bullying he got, then dealing with him getting suspended from college for being retarded and chimping out at the dean, not to mention dealing with multiple arrests for being retarded in malls, then seeing your favorite manchild-dumping place ban him for being retarded there, now add in the constant trolling and harassment the Chandlers received for over a decade, him trooning out, the housefire he caused..etc.

Only for him to show you his pimp hand because some other autists threatened him with a moon laser that will kill his Sanic OCs.

She could've gotten Chris more help for his autism, but I guess I could give her a pass since she's so old.

But she could've kept his behavior in check. She didn't have to move away. She could've gotten help for her hoarding problem. Her life might be hell now, but for the decades Chris has been alive she could've made a change. On a slightly different note, do we know what her life was like before meeting Bob? We know she was complete trailer park trash, but any specifics?

Can barb even die?

Maybe those pet deaths are related to some kind of black magic ritual that allows her to keep that empty husk alive just a little bit longer

It's been one year sinceI haven't followed Chris, I missed the Idea guys saga completely.
Fuck, it seems like what little sanity he had has completely gone through the roof, as seen by his recent bullshit on Twitter and Youtube about cartoon dimensions merging and whatnot.
He's always been a creepy autistic manchild with weird beliefs, then we had the trans saga, now he looks like a proper schizo.
Apparently, he smokes weed now, from what I read here, it's certainly not helping but idk.
I wonder what will happen of him when barb finally dies, which I think won't take more than 2 years.

If Barb is worse in debt than Chris wouldn't those debts roll over onto Chris?
If he accepts her estate yes. So if he decides to keep the house he takes on all her debt but if not he's homeless and her debt gets written off

Real talk here, niggas, real talk:

Chris is definitely going to end up in someone's care. Group home, family friend, family (Unlikely. VERY VERY unlikely), or maybe even one of his Facebook friends will take pity on him and invite him to stay with them before trying to get him into a group home. As for his reaction, he'd call 911, but given his track record (Shoving sharp shards up his ass, macing people, and making bathroom coffee, to name a few), it's unlikely he'd call them first. And for sure, he'd make a Facebook post about how he's scared, cold, and alone in such a big, big house. Will Chris commit suicide? Maybe. We've never really seen him suicidal, nor at the brink, but then again he never really talked about being suicidal, so he could probably be keeping those feelings bottled up. I won't lie, this'll be a scary, yet interesting moment for Chris's life. It's territory we've only theorized about, going based only on what happened when Bob died. When Bob died, though, Chris had people to turn to, and Bard. But now? We're not entirely sure.
I really doubt Chris would kill himself. He doesn't bottle anything up and if he were suicidal we would have heard about it by now considering he didn't filter out anything else as being too personal

He absolutely bottles things up, and doesn't seem to have many avenues for serious emotional release. He's not exactly thrilled with where his life's at. That's most apparent in his fantasy escapism. He's also previously expressed suicidal thoughts, but views suicide as wrong.

Obviously it's not in his best interest to inherit the estate. But he might choose to cling onto it for sentimental value.

I wonder if setting him up with a rental house in which he could move his toys would convince him to let go of 14 BLC. His financial situation won't improve by any stretch of the imagination, but at least he won't have the ball and chain that is Barb's poor financial decisions weighing him down.

The thing is, though, that he would hang his suicidal thoughts over everyone's heads if they did exist. He would probably throw it in when chastising someone for making fun of him, i.e. "America's favorite game, kick the suicidal autistic".
