Well yeah, but there are so, so many ups and downs with Chris that trying to take any side always leaves you kind of in the wrong. I suppose this is what a lot of naturalists came to the conclusion of as well. So like them, the best way to do it is with neutrality, fascination, discussion, and of course some laughs.

I mean, as far as the Barbe vs. Chris financial debates, I think that Barbe takes money from Chris as well as all sorts of financial institutions, while Chris fundamentally doesn't understand how bills work, i.e. when to pay them, how to pay them, and how to plan for them.

Chris can pay the bills just fine, he's been doing it since Bob was killed in 2011. His problem is that he chimps out hard when he can't get the toys and vidya he wants and begs online for the extra money to do that (because experience shows it works), usually when he pays the bills, when Barb screams at him to pay off her credit card debts, or when he sees a toy he wants but can't get because he had to waste tugboat on such useless things like food or electricity.

It's not to take sides or jump to any conclusion but you're right
 
Chris knows that you need to pay the electric bill to keep internet running? I picture Chris not paying the electric bill, but paying the cable bill or whatever he uses for internet and bitching because the internet is off when they turn off the electricity.

Personally, I'm hoping that Chris gets so far into his delusions that he forgoes the bills for toys and develops an expectation that his Sonichus will provide electricity (aka him trying to bullshit stuff out of thin air)
 
I think every one can agree Barb dying is going to likely push Chris deeper into his delusional state..

But this debate of him paying bills? He complains barb harps on him for money. Has any one tried to verify who does the actual bill payments? Like how do we know it isn't Barb who takes the money to pay things off on a minimum etc? Can any one verify one or the other on this?

Marvin's claims suggest a mix of the two. Sometimes Chris pays them, sometimes Barb. The only thing I know for sure is Chris is aware of his debt and to whom he owes it, and does make payments occasionally.

See I wonder if he truly does even that, or if it's barb just doing enough to keep the courts away as much as she can. She's the type of person who'd charge a credit card to a credit card to bounce it for a month to buy her self time or some crazy shit. I mean, that used to work apparently. Maybe when Barb dies we'll find out all her illegal tricks that enabled her to some how never go to jail or lose her house.

He pays off the bare minimum while blowing thousands on buying toys and going to conventions, not to mention the six grand he paid because he was scared of a fucking moon laser. He could be debt free or a good deal closer to it if he was not such a fool.
