Just a general observation: why the fuck does AL need a blanket when it's 50 degrees outside and in a car that presumably has heat? Does she not carry a foot thick orange chicken woven fat-blanket at all times?
It's a security blanket, because she's a fucking toddler.

She wraps herself in blankets even in the summer. She's not cold. She's using the blanket to help shield whatever part of her body seems the most bulbous to her at the time. People who are cold do things like wear socks or gloves or scarves. And though she is elephantine, she could wear footie socks, fingerless gloves, and scarves are genuinely one size fits all. She's still operating in that fatty-stealth mode wherein she feels better if she is completely camouflaged, even though she knows it doesn't fool anyone into thinking she's not 550 pounds. But it soothes her self-loathing if she covers up and hides her shame.

I have no doubt she has circulation problems but I have to think diabetic neuropathy helps mitigate it. I suspect we could set one of her flats on fire and she'd have third degree burns before she noticed. I don't think she feels the cold. She just feels shame.

Neuropathy doesn't numb your body out like people seem to think. You get loss of touch, but nerve pain is felt far more easily. IE; Pins and needles is mild Neuropathy. But it scales up to feeling like nails through the feet. I'm legit surprised she hasn't complained about it.

The other frightening possibility is her circulation is so shit her body has parts of it with horribly inadequate circulation that is effectively dying off.

She's like an obese Sailor Moon.

Sleeping in by daylight
Eating nuggets by moonlight
Always getting in a Hayder fight
She is the one named Big AL
