Hasn't he been in stasis in the Rock with the Watchers in the Dark trying to heal him after Luther fucked his shit up?

Of course, according to some of the 30k art of him he was already a bit wrinkly and worn-looking:

I mean, I'd be amazed if you weren't wrinkly or worn-looking after the shit you've seen during the Horus Heresy.

Age of sigmar was a better system, shit lore situation.
Reading the Gotrek books, I like some aspects of it. Like the different kind of dwarves being logical divergence after the overly past obsessed in Fantasy. Other racial ideas are also cool and the Stormcast have a lot of potential.
However it also feels to bloated and the naming scheme is absolutely retarded and uninspired.
It also has the issue of having the normal humans feel far less important compared to the order gods, which is the main issue with the primarchs.

Why the Lion? I always found Dark Angels boring but I guess if they wanted to pick a more generic primarch they’d have gone with Rogal Dorn which would at least lay off Guilliman’s desire to be an administrator instead of the Lion just wanting to crusade whole Gulliman ends the codex decree

You know, if they actually pull it off decently, as a newer player, the idea of having to precon box format is kinda alluring. There are a lot of factions I like, but don't 2000 points like, and the idea of having a bigger than Killteam mini army that I can get relatively cheap is nice.

Gimme Kroots and I'm on board.

I could actually see it being a way for more niche stuff like Kroots, Corsairs, Lost and the Damned, etc to get fleshed out a bit more. Something that isn't worth making an entire army line out of, but allowing some smaller fanbase to get more than a Killteam for. That'd actually be a fantastic way to refresh the Inquisition.

The lions been set up for years at this point and Dark Angels are one of the most popular chapters.

It really Is tiresome when I put a lot of work into my stuff and people show up with shit like this.
I don't play as my much as I would want because I have unpainted minis or partially finished works in progress. The thought of showing up to play with half assed models never crosses my mind.

Also I was a BL reader for years but took the model plunge in 8th edition with the Dark Imperium box. Is it just me or are we having too many editions too fast? I feel like 7-10 was done in a blink of an eye compared to 1-6.

Guilliman, being nearly Emperor tier in his organizational skills, has the potential to unfuck the Empire over time, making it unstoppable. The way I see it, what better way to throw a spanner in that work than an Imperium civil war?

What if a certain chapter was revealed to have had a considerable number of traitors during the Horus Heresy and kept it under wraps for 10,000 years? How do you think the Inquisition would react?

Add to that fraternal conflict drama from the Lion and Guilliman...

Damn they made the Lion look 10,000 years older, he did not have a restfull nap.
Rip Van Johnson.
I know people have been comparing Johnson's appearance to Charles Dance and now I can't unsee it.
Funny enough that the sigil of House Lannister is a lion.
In any case, I'm wondering about the Fallen and if they will play a role in Arks of Omen: The Lion or will we have to wait until 10th edition to see them make a proper return. Considering Vashtorr retreated to the very area where Luther is rumored to be gather a large Fallen contingency, I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Heheh... BL...

A full-blown civil war would be too much, but instability and anarchy caused of the Great Rift would be a great way to justify Imperium vs Imperium matchups, which is what most people end up playing anyway. Armies everywhere could clash with both sides claiming that they're working in the best interest of the Imperium. Sure, you can already find a some instances of such intra-conflict in the lore, but it would be nice for it to be more pronounced.

Unfortunately, we haven't really gotten such narrative after two editions with the Great Rift, and I foresee 10th being more focused on Tyranids and the usual threat of Chaos rather than the Lion starting shit.

There just isn't any equally important primarchs, either the chapters are tiny and powerless (Salamanders, Raven Guard) or the primarch is super dead (Dorn, Sanguinious), maybe the only exception is Khan but nobody cares about him.

The problem tho is that I can't see any parts of the Imperium joining the Lion in rebellion (assuming he will rebel). The DA are team killing douchebags and that didn't win them many friends.

Guilliman has his own original sin with Imperium Secundus so he probably wouldn't dig too deep.

Logically what should happen is Guilliman deciding he'll stay full time on terra and deal with the bureaucracy, while Lion goes around fucking any external issues.

I think G-Man will be regretting staying around to run the Imperium like he always wanted, mostly because I can think of no foe more terrible, intractable, or ruinous to one's very soul than the Adeptus Administratum. Not even the entropic Hrud or the mind-eating Psychneuin are a mortal and immortal peril as the civil service.

On the bright side, we get Guilliman in the leading role in "Yes, Primarch".

"Sun readers don't care who runs the Imperium, so long as she's got big tits."
"Surely a slaaneshi influence."

You can just paint his hair a more vivid shade of blonde, and there, younger Lion.

I juat hope they don't fuck up the DA angst arch, they built it for like 30 years.

So with Lion boi and the G-man back, what other Primarchs we got left that could make a possible reutrn? Corax and Russ suddenly popping out of the warp?

They might bring back Jaghatai Khan, as he's just said to be in the Webway or Commorragh itself. Otherwise, I could see them bringing back Russ or Dorn. We actually know Corax is active, but he's basically decided his life to hunting down Lorgar, as he's become a giant mutant crow man.

I don't see these as coming any time soon. We had to wait a good like 6-7 years for the Lion, and he was pretty fucking popular.

I mean, isnt Dorn pushing up daisy like Sanguious is? Id prob see Russ popping back up, maaaybe Vulkan making a dramatic return....or....who was the leader of the Black Templars?

Dorn is said to be pushing up daisies but his recovered remains (Previously his whole skeleton, changed to just be his hand), have been left open up to possibly hype up his return.

I've heard that in HH, Kurze foreseen his original canon death, which is pretty bad considering he managed to correctly predict the death of like six other primarchs in the same paragraph.

So what actual rule changes are coming? From what I gather so far, Psyker moves are being transferred to the Shooting phase, and the Morale phase is being reworked as a "Battleshock" debuff rather than just losing models.
