If only. Graphene allows it with network permissions, but that would mean you're switching your phone hardware as it's only available for pixels, and wiping your device which has its own set of hassles alongside. I've been looking for a solution to use NetGuard and Mullvad in tandem on stock android for a while as well tbh
 
Reminded me that VPNs exist, I am a avid believer of Xray-core, literally hides the fact that you are even using anti-censorship tooling, anyways, VPN providers are mostly bullshit, it's best to buy a VPS or dedicated via monero, get a residental proxy and host a VPN or xray-core via that

There's a guide somewhere about just that, but when I saw how long it was my eyes glazed over. I don't care that much.
 
If you don't break federal law then it doesn't matter if you give Proton money for their email and VPN services. If you're going to break federal law then do it over Tor.

So I finally figured out what was wrong. Shockingly, it wasn't the DNS. For some reason, DAITA became an issue after months of being enabled with no problem. I turned it off and suddenly I had quick connections again.

I don't need DAITA, but I am somewhat annoyed that it didn't occur to me to fool around with some of the settings rather than impotently rage occasionally. My age is showing.
 
does anyone else think that the protonvpn's software is kinda clunky and over designed, I like mullvad's one much better as its just a little window that opens on the side.

I've been using graphene OS for a while and it's so smooth and great to use, i also just started buying Mullvad VPN because here in Canada saying the word nigger online can land you in jail. I really enjoy both services.

Who would have thought free speech in Canada would cost $72 a year?

Mullvad should allow 5 concurrent devices. In theory you can find a buddy and split the sub. Have the extra use wireguard if you can't trust them with your account, then you can just give them the config files instead of your credentials.

It would still cost more than free speech should, but it will reduce the severity of it.
