However, I’m not sure there’s a true appreciation for what the full might of American Capitalism

via oil companies can bring. Now it may not materially improve conditions in the short term, but oil executives don’t just set up shop with a bunch of engineering nerds. There are lucrative contracts for private security companies like Blackwater that come along for the ride. I’m sure all of this was mapped out and contracts signed shortly after Trump’s inauguration. And I’m guessing many of these operatives have been on the ground eyeballing the old operations and getting ready to move in the event some dirty fucking commie thinks about sabotaging our oil equipment for months now.
What has changed is that Trump had downtime to stew and plan what he would do when he got back in office. Venezuela was on that list. He is backing the oil companies using their vast wealth to “bring Democracy

” Our oil companies won’t move on their own if it contradicts American foreign policy and their shenanigans typically take place in shitholes in the other hemisphere where we can pretend we don’t know what’s going on.
This is different. They have Trump openly backing them. And they have more money and private security forces than most nations on the planet.
All of this is to say, between our oil companies, our glowniggers, our private security forces, and a thumbs up from Trump, not a single person currently “holding power” will be able to relax for a second. Oil executives like stability. They like a populace that won’t vote in socialist niggers who steal their shit. And they especially fucking hate Venezuelan commies. Stability is paramount so today, and maybe for a month, maybe more, some asshole commie can pretend she has a say. We all know she doesn’t. She knows she doesn’t. Even my dog knows she doesn’t.
There will be someone they decide on eventually and they won’t be tolerant of even a whiff of “maybe we should seize the means of production or something.” They’ve been on this ride with Venezuelans and have been waiting to grind those commie niggers to dust ever since.
What that means for the average Venezuelan, who knows? At the very least I think it’s comical to believe our oil companies would even consider spending a few more billion down there if there wasn’t set in stone backing from the administration. But people always think that means our uniformed troops or “boots on the ground.” It does not.
One of the things that really flourished and grew out of our Middle East debacle was our private military contractors. They are not shitty gangbangers on motorcycles annoying the locals selling shit on the street. They are professional militaries employing the same people that just black bagged Maduro, “former” military intelligence, and highly trained technical specialists. Equipped with the best equipment oil company money can buy.
American “boots” will continue to be parked off the coasts, picking off vultures and ensuring Democracy

can take hold while the private contractors work with the glowniggers and their assets to get a reliable, American oil company friendly leader in place. One that will make sure that Venezuela is stable (meaning commies don’t get to agitate inside our God ordained backyard), and economically viable enough that the United States doesn’t need to prop it up forever. They will not be losing their investment a second time.
