These woke devs are so predictable that I'll take a stab at the initial 5:
Brujah (obvious)
Gangrel (Furries represent)
Malkavian (lOl sO rAnDoM aNd QuIrKy!)
Tremere (Magic Mary Sues)
Thin Blood (not an actual clan but fuck if they care about lore)

Guaranteed not to be present at first:
Ventrue (Evil undead white cis males)
I doubt they'd forget Nosferatu considering they were so important in VTMB. They'll probably drop Tremere since they aren't as vital. They always forget lasombra though :(.

Speak for yourself. No other Clan can make people explode into burst of blood.

Alright, honest take?
White Wolf Publishing lore is dense as fuck at the absolute best of times, and more often than not it's fucking impenetrable. It's lore on top of lore on top of lore that spans like 40 pages of god knows what.
The likelihood of a faithful, loving adaptation of that shit in the current state of "appeal to every mouthbreathing halfwit on earth no matter the cost" that is games publishing today?
Not gonna happen, chuckles.

It's going to be a stripped down, cynical, micropayments laden, season pass nightmare with every microgram of nuance or controversy sandblasted off until it's ready to appeal to as broad a base as possible. If you think a game like the original Bloodlines (a commercial failure even back at release, by the way) is going to happen today, you are fucking dreaming.

We are going to get Twilight: The Game by way of Evolve's business model. I wish that wasn't the case, but there is no fucking way a nuanced, complex RPG with deep lore is going to happen here, friends.
I'm not trying to doomsay, I'd love this to be a loving adaptation, and I'm eager to be proven wrong. I'd adore a solid sequel with all the love and weirdness of the original, but I'm not optimistic.

I don't know man, vicissitude can be pretty brutal.

A respectable discipline, but I prefer messing with blood bonds and making explosions. I am a simple mage.
Dementation for life, plebs.

Are we forgetting that Vicissitude can turn people into an explosion of blood that just explodes over an over again? I don't even really like the Tzimisce but their disciplines are pretty badass. As much as I made fun of fish malks earlier, I'm still a Malkavian at heart. Can't pass up on both Obfuscate and Dementation. I even still run with Dominate sometimes. Malks are objectively the most fun Clan and you can't make me think otherwise.

They have a working demo at least, which is good news.

Oh, and part of the masquerade restoration (and earning good boy points with the prince if you choose to) is cleaning up the mess you or others made. This is actually pretty fitting for Vampire.

The clean-up crew exemplifies the weirdness Mitsoda and Hardsuit are hoping to carry over from Bloodlines to the sequel. The organisation is run by a man named Bart, who has seen every kind of horror imaginable and is completely numb to it. An early quest involves clearing the mess left behind after a disastrous romantic entanglement between a vampire and a human. “If someone exploded in a small hotel room, that’s what that would look like,” Schlütter explains. “You’re there to just pick up the pieces. Literally, the pieces. And Bart just comments on whatever is there, eating his noodle-soup.”

Bart sounds like an NPC ghoul I’ve seen a few times, the Prince’s cleaner.

A demo they still refuse to show despite offering pre-orders. Also, seems like Brujah and Tremere are pretty much confirmed.

Not an utter surprise really. Cuz Brujah are just the Anarchs now in v5 metaplot. They've broken completely away.

And it bugs me they're calling thinbloods a clan. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. If they said Caitiff or Pander, fine but thinblood is simply a generational issue not a clan one. Also it still wouldn't matter. You don't gain clan power through Diablerie anyway. So way to fuck up your own lore with nonsensical stupidity.

You’re wrong though. The thin bloods are a “clan” the same way the Salubri are still a clan. They’re more of a bloodline, yes, but there’s enough of them and they’re distinct from other vampires that calling them a clan isn’t inaccurate. For that matter, yes. thinbloods that diablerize a full clan member join that clan, as the generation boost means they’re no longer thin blooded anymore. V5 has confirmed this.

We got Tremere lads, who could have called that one. The next two will almost definitely be Malkavian and Nosferatu, I highly doubt they'd exclude them. Never going to get my Lasombra am I?
by background in clans section of official website looks like we are gonna get toreodor, ventrue and nosferatu

That isn't how it works in v5 either. Thinbloods can use resonances to temporarily learn disciplines as well as use their own alchemy to spoof/copy the powers of other clans. It says nothing in the base game about diablerie giving you the blood of the clan and becoming a full member of it. Learning powers? Sure. Becoming a member of that clan? The vitae that flows through you doesn't automatically become the blood of Ventru just because you eat a Ventrue for lunch.

As to other editons of VtM, thinbloods is a flaw you take. You can be Caitiff (most likely) or still a clan thinbloods of any of the 13. You'd be 14/15 and even 16 but after that you're getting into Dhampir territory. But again, not a clan or a bloodline. Just a symptom of generational issues.

I'm not gonna continuing arguing schematics over VtM cuz frankly it's sperging and I'm certainly not gonna argue over V5 because the whole game is a fucking mess and most actual WoD fans have given it the thumbs down including myself for generally being kinda dumb.

Those two would actually make the most sense to be DLC, considering they need the most extra work to be done right.
