Just finished playing Bloodlines 1 for the first time. I enjoyed it immensely despite all of the jank, but man, what a wet fart of an ending.

Anyways, consider me hooked. What should I look into for more Vampire content? I've never really dabbled in tabletop games, and I hear Bloodlines 2 is a massive disappointment.
Take the Redpill and play the Hunter the Reckoning games.

Obviously doesn't play at all like VtMB as it's a Hack'n'Slash with RPG elements but it's set in the same universe and captures that classic 2000s WoD edge that bloodlines has.

Old school Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon but the building you're planning to raid is full of supernaturally empowered beings of unknown strength would be a hell of a game. Shame that we'll never see it for obvious reasons.

By "obvious reasons" I meant that we simply can't have nice things because Francia delenda est, but yeah that too. The writers' rooms must be scoured of the current crop of people with shit for brains as well.
 
VTMB2 has (half) fixed itself. Melee has been completely revamped. You can use all melee weapons with light attacks and heavy attacks that smash the weapon but do extra damage, you can block attacks by looking at the attacking enemy, and you can line up attacks when in that slow motion scanning mode. Hand to hand combat is now a last resort instead of being the entire fucking game.

Game has been restructured in some curious ways. A bunch of quests are now optional instead of being forced to do them. Mrs. Thorn quests are exclusive to Tremere now. Niko quests are exclusive to Banu Haqim now. So there's now clan-exclusive content.

Just a shame we have to wait a few extra months for guns.

I have one problem with this. It should have been in the FUCKING GAME, SINCE THE VERY GOD DAMN BEGINNING!!
 
No Mans Sky and Cyberpunk has given some players and developers delusions that their games that were shit from the concept stage just need a little more time to cook until they change from ugly ducklings into beautiful swans.
That requires at least some level of retrospection and competence, which nobody who worked on this game has demonstrated to possess in the slightest.

Reviews say two hours playtime, another one where you play as some nigger coming out Q3,

They were promised with the gold editions so this is definitely a "please don't sue us for false advertisement" type of deal, like the Suicide Squad game.
Sounds like they abandoned the previous claims that they were making some dlc involving the werewolves moving in on vampire territory

The only people that still remember the game are the autists in this thread (like me) still mad this abortion has Bloodlines in the title.

Also, and I do not say this lightly, the woke shit is not even the game's biggest problem. It's a half-baked mess that has been pushed out the door because someone at Paradox didn't want to suffer the humiliation of turning it into a tax write-off.

Probably the best thing this game did was discourage Paradox from funding any more RPG projects, so at least we're spared from being subjected to Swedish woke slop in the genre.
