My opinion is that it's probably too low-level a solution and even if I don't think it's wrong/illegal, I don't think the trannies at Riot games are competent enough to do it safely.

A better solution is to simply rangeban China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, and the smattering of other third-world countries that cheat in F2P games because they're not bringing in any money anyway.

Doesn't look like firmware with a lot of additional, handy purposes for everyday user.

So, basically, affected people knowingly bought specialized firmware and knowingly installed kernel-level anti-cheat with full knowledge that said anti-cheat can detect those cards and said anti-cheat specifically stated that it can do that. Yeah, woe to those guys as well, they even paid for that it seems.

Talks about lawsuits is a massive cope, those who actually can roll into the lawsuit are not so numerous and they probably already break some kind of law regarding misuse of technology for hacking purposes, not sure.

I am looking at these cards, and a lot of them seem to be FPGAs with special cheating firmware preinstalled. They no doubt have legitimate uses, as long as a means of reprogramming them is available.

I find the whole situation absurd. Apparently cheating is so rampant, and profit margins are so fucking tight in Valorant, that this is considered an appropriate escalation, a low level hardware/firmware attack to get niggers to fuck off. I'm just saying, there has to be a better use of people's time than cheating in fucking Valorant. Like go outside. Play a decent game that doesn't rape you.
 
On one hand, Riot is full of smug trannies and attention whores. On the other hand, the Chinese race's obsession and shamelessness with cheating is spiritually Indian. And on my third hand, people who play Valorant are retarded goysoomers. I hope all parties lose.
