Funniest theory I've heard about what Ralsei really is in the real world is that he's a tree. Seems to have come about because of this album cover.

He's able to freely travel between Dark Worlds because his roots are spread out under the town, he tries to act as comfort like how a tree seems to serve as a block for something Kris doesn't want to remember in the Egg events, and it makes him a parallel to Flowey. And also, Temmie at one point posted art of Ralsei where he was a Christmas tree wearing his scarf and glasses.
It's dumb, but just believable enough that it can't be discounted.

On another note, I just found out that if you try walking back to the previous room from the final prophecy room at the end, you get stopped by this special narration. It also supposedly plays a guitar sound effect at the end, but the volume on it is set to 0 so you can't actually hear it.

also at one point theres a green save/load screen where instead of the typical save window dialogue its gaster talking to you directly just like in the goner maker, i think it was at the start of chapter 1 or maybe only in the demo
It appears that way when you play the game for the very first time before starting a new file.

Youtube randomly reccomended me this vid a few days ago and a lot of the shit from it has been stuck in my head since.
For context, I still have not gotten around to getting and playing deltarune chapter 3 but it's fine, I got spoiled on everything against my will already.

Yep, Rocket Power was truly a horrible show. God save us all, indeed.
Shoobieniggers get the rope

It might be referencing Surfshack Tito, the troll, and not just the show.
Probably, but the BIG thing with surfshack tito that made him funny was he posted and was treaded like he was THE tito makani from rocket power. Due to my shitposter mind I cannot seperate them anymore.

Imagine letting other people dictate how much you can like something lol

Besides, what’s more important is how the people managing the property handle their fanbase, and Toby basically ignores his.
A fact that I am incredibly grateful for. Could you imagine how bad Deltarune would have been if Toby took any cues from the generally dogshit audience of his games?

We saw a little bit of it in Chapter 4 when he censored the rose animation and Susie calling Catty a furry degenerate. I'm kinda torn on the last one since "furry freak" really does sound more in-character for Susie, but censorship is still censorship.

Toby also cares a great deal about how people interpret his writing, and if people are getting the wrong impression from something he changes it. Remember, he went out of his way to respecify that it was YOU drinking the hot chocolate in chapter 1.

Here's my new shit Deltarune theory: What if the Knight (as we know it) is actually the severed hand of Kris.
There's been some speculation about imagery and allusions regarding severed hands, and the message in the secret gacharoom that said "You couldn't find your hand". Also bosses of chapters have used the words "The Knight's Hand is moving forward" or something to that effect.

So what if someone figured out that humans have so much determination, that even their severed body parts can act autonomously with immense power in a dark world. They already establish that the dust that was once a monster can be strong enough to create a form in a dark world. Or possibly Kris actually inhabits that body in the dark world which is why there needs to be a soul in his body to pilot him while in the dark world so he can go do knight things. The prophecy also says Kris is a "cage with human soul and parts" which could imply that the cage and the parts could be separate entities. Kris is also always shown as being a trickster, which fits the grin that the knight always has. Also this sprite from the end of chapter 1 has a very similar smile.

I dunno just something I was musing over when I started thinking about theories and shit. Kris never shows that their hand is missing or imply it in any way other than being upset about not being able to play piano and biting their hand. That's the biggest hole I can think of, but maybe Kris isn't in their original body or something. Maybe Kris is actually an amalgamate consisting of themselves, Dess, and Asriel, and the parts that are remaining of Asriel are what make Ralsei.

Gonna piggyback off this and the common theory that the Knight is Dess with Kris's soul to suggest Dess somehow lost her hand and replaced with it with Kris's which leads to her being the Knight and Kris's connection to the Knight, while Kris replaced his hand with the vessel's hand which is why the player soul is inside him.

This makes changing the weird route chapter 4 scene make a lot more sense than Toby censoring it due to outcry either at the scene itself or the jokes about it. Still think the Noelle rape jokes that popped up were funny, and I wonder how no one noticed it could come off that way before the chapter released.

I think its funny how the imagery with the Weird Route was changed specifically to avoid certain connotations implying sexual abuse, yet the dumbfuck fans still insist that it's a metaphor for sexual abuse. Media literacy is dead, and tumblr killed it. You can painstakingly craft a narrative and retard faggot narcissists will take it and "interpret" it however they want to fit their desired view. I can't stand theory videos post chapter 3 and 4 release because its always some mushmouth retard talking about his fanfic of what he wants to happen in excruciating detail as a "theory". I bet this will be Toby's last game because dealing with these kinds of people scrutinizing every single bit of your game must be exhausting to deal with. That's why I think a big theme of Deltarune is going to be about losing control of your creation because its what happened to Toby with Undertale and now Deltarune. It can be both a good thing and a bad thing.
