All the Noelle and Susie scenes are all intentionally written to be awful because Noelle is using Susie as a replacement Dess, while Susie just sees her as a friend. Even Susie jumping up and yelling at Carol doesn't say much, because she'd do that for anyone. She chimps out whenever it comes to her friends, this is a consistent thing, she did it for Lancer, she does it to Ralsei for that matter.

Noelle's crush on her is clearly extremely unhealthy and one-sided, it will go nowhere. Even the most retarded genderspecial section of the fanbase is starting to see that Noelle is kind of a bad person and that Suselle has no chemistry. Toby could not make it more clear if he tried. Part of her arc is going to be learning to be independent from Dess or crashing and burning.

The joke with Papyrus in Deltarune will be that he doesn't show up until like, 3 minutes before the credits roll. He'll come from offscreen and Sans will say something like "took you long enough", Papyrus will have some excuse (but replace a word with something bone/skeleton related), everyone laughs, roll credits.
 
The fucking friend face is in chapter 4s echoes in the church (dark world 4) !! In one of the rooms you can see a darkened shape of it floating in the back. This little shit wriggled into the prophecy! Maybe thats why they leave milk in the alley, for the weird cat horrors? Its kind of hard to see in an image so I will attach a video here, it should be the last sighting.

Noelle is a masochist, I mean, Kris was always a prankster to her and it's implied she had feelings for him, then comes Susie who is a seemingly even meaner bully and she falls for her. At this point I woulnd't be surprised if Noelle's unhealthy crush ties down to Carol's abuse and it's her way to cope.
 
I don't really get Suselle, because the past two chapters VASTLY strengthened Susie's dynamics with Kris and even Ralsei, but everytime Noelle's in the picture, the plot suddenly grinds to a halt to switch from A-tier writing to reenacting Disney Channel early 2010s teen romcoms but with lesbians, and even the fandom's starting to notice, which is insane because I swear I was going crazy having to listen to all the discussion of "CUTE Susie and Noelle Yuri!" bullshit since 2021 before opinions started to change. This, combined with how Kris and Noelle are more or less written like exes with Noelle clearly still having some feelings for Kris, and how Susie is awfully similar to Kris and also how Dess is described/interpreted as, makes me genuinely have no idea if the relationship is meant to be weird, boring, and kinda uncomfortable or not, considering the same exact scenes more or less happened back in chap 2 and dragged down a fair portion of it as well.
 
I went through all the highlights of this thread. Zero gameplay discussion. I don’t even know what kind of game this is. What this tells me is that this game must be shit and people are playing it because of some gay self-insert art bullshit or whatever.

its a heavily story driven game and half of it hasnt been released yet so naturally theres a lot of discussion about where the story might go. this isnt the dota 2 thread

It's dumb jokes, good music, bullethell and weird symbolism. There's not really much to talk about with the gameplay beyond the couple bullethell patterns that everyone hates just like there's nothing to talk about in every twitch-reflex game.

If you want an idea of where the difficulty goes here's a clone of one of the hardest fights in the series to give an idea of the kind of things we complain about (and give context for one of the most memetic game songs in the last decade)
