Holy shit, they're so fucking gross. Sexualizing the fuck out of a 10-year-old kid and trying to slap trans labels on her for not being a pretty-pretty girly girl.

Ewwwww.
The movie director's page doesn't make it any better IMO...

Basing your cultural identity on "progress" is bound to end with the sane people being shoved into a hole as the madmen rule the asylum. This is a country that brutally murdered its nobility and conservatives 200 years ago in an orgy of tyranny and celebrates it to this day.

Funny you should ask that...
So many jump points I recommend you follow in the above. To quote from the first one...

How could a country that prides itself on being so enlightened celebrate an ogre? After all, we’re not talking about a Jeffrey Epstein, as horrible as he was. The well-connected billionaire spent vast sums to keep his sexual abuses at least somewhat secret. Matzneff not only confessed to his crimes, his confessions were celebrated as literary contributions.
The answer stems in part from the fact that Matzneff was a “Child of ’68” — i.e., a product of the left-wing “May 68” movement that shook France in the 1960s. These radicals subscribed to the idea that anything smacking of traditionalism or bourgeois morality was backward. Conventional sexual morality was part of the same rotten edifice as imperialism and racism. True liberation meant freedom not just from, say, capitalism, but also from the old-fashioned view that sex with kids was wrong. “It’s forbidden to forbid” was a rallying cry.
Some argued, Onishi writes, “for abolishing age-of-consent laws, saying that doing so would liberate children from the domination of their parents and allow them to be full, sexual beings.”
A few years ago, Daniel Cohn-Bendit, the famous former radical and leader of the European Green movement, got in hot water for his earlier writings and statements about “erotic” encounters with five-year-olds. He dodged major consequences by disavowing his own words, saying they were merely intended to provoke.
Matzneff can’t make such claims. His whole identity was invested in the seduction of children and teenagers.
Sociologist Pierre Verdrager, the author of L’Enfant Interdit, or Forbidden Child, which chronicled the politics of pedophilia in 1970s France, told Onishi: “There was an aristocracy of sexuality, an elite that was united in putting forth new attitudes and behavior toward sex. And they were also grounded in an extreme prejudice toward ordinary people, whom they regarded as idiots and fools.”

Revolutionary France led to Napoleon dominating much of Europe before his final defeat, and even after that France was a major great power until WW2. The modern problems with France stem from their disgusting communist academics during the cold war era. Sartre, De Beauvoir, and others were pushing paedo acceptance hard in the 1970s, even petitioning the government about it. Since then, the "academic" culture has been infested with it, though it's less bad than it used to be.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_petition_against_age_of_consent_laws

Disgusting French people said:
In 1977, a petition was addressed to the French parliament calling for the abrogation of several articles of the age of consent law and the decriminalization of all consensual relations between adults and minors below the age of fifteen (the age of consent in France). A number of French intellectuals – including such prominent names as Louis Aragon, Michel Foucault, Jean-Paul Sartre, Jacques Derrida, Louis Althusser, Roland Barthes, Simone de Beauvoir, Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Michel Leiris, Alain Robbe-Grillet, Philippe Sollers, Jacques Rancière, Jean-François Lyotard, Francis Ponge, Bernard Besret and various prominent doctors and psychologists – signed the petition.[1] In 1979 two open letters were published in French newspapers defending individuals arrested under charges of statutory rape, in the context of abolition of age of consent laws.

I once saw a page displaying the "Panty Shot" trope on a character from a show meant for like, 7 year olds. It was called Abby Hatcher or some shit.

It was called Innocent Panties I believe. That stuff has been removed from the site; I don't like TVT now but it's not completely disgusting like it used to be. I recall articles starting "Rape is OK if..."

France has always been far more liberal when it comes to sex and ideas about sex than the anglo world. Its a theme and a joke for centuries. Its really not that unusual. The french are sexually tolerant in a way but also kind of sleazy the english are more puritanical(and by extension the US) but also kind of repressed.US culture is a weird flip flopped version of french culture.Sex is something that is controversial but extreme violence rarely creates the same level unless its tied to some other specific situation.Just look at the fake controversy Ben Shapiro caused with that 'WAP' song.We also have to take into account that present day french culture is influenced by the extreme severity of WW1 and WW2.The european heartland has largely turned away from war and violence because they have about 60 million bodies on it from 2 massive wars.Lets be fair here most european countries have crime rates well below the global average even with high levels of gun ownership.Guns are common in quite a few countries. And that's because the idea of 'might makes right' has largely been discredited in the western european mindset.Crime severe crime is not just tied to poverty but also culture. All cultures with high crime rates have a 'might makes right' mindset that is if not celebrated at least justified. The trully funny thing is odds are pretty good sleaziness in the US and France are probably at the same level. Its just that western europeans don't take a holier than thou approach to it unlike the english. On the other hand western europeans take a holier than thou attitute to violence. So eh lose some gain some.

>Freeze Frame Bonus

Whoever wrote that was watching a show for children and kept pausing it at certain points just to see if the MCs panties were visible under her skirt.

Oh, you sweet summer children...

Seriously, did a space bar kill your father or something? Even auto spell programs will include it with punctuation.

The amount of attention that had gone into these pages is disturbing, but strangely fascinating. It takes a special kind of messed-up individual too obsessively watch some 60s anime or 50s B-movie and the main thing you take away from it is one quick shot where some 8 year old girl accidentally had her underpants exposed for the world to see. These girls could have been random kids who wanted to act and been in one movie and years later some pervert on the internet is writing a paragraph about the underwear they randomly put on one day before shooting a scene where their dress accidentally flipped up and got left in the final cut.

This entire page was written by people who have never known the touch of a woman.

I once enjoyed TV Tropes, years ago, when it was still kind of an obscure thing compared to today. TV Tropes used to feel like reading a fun trivia of obscure terms for plot devices and stuff in media. I got completely sick of in in maybe 2011 because every page was an autistic mess.

I miss when I could read an entry for a page without a bunch of obviously wrong tropes jammed in, unnecessarily lengthening the page. It's like people intentionally put in a wrong trope that can only be tangentially justified, just to have a chance to contribute to the page of a show or movie they like. That, or they put in retardedly obvious things that don't need to be listed for any fucking reason as tropes (like, listing "pirates" or on a pirate movie, or listing "Christmas" on a Santa Claus movie--no fucking shit).
