Fighteer banning some troper because the troper asked him to remove the PM ban? I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

What an absolute cunt. Say what you like about Fast Eddie, he was at least not a dictatorial nut just shitting up the place every day with utter assholery for no reason at all.

These people... So I was looking around Protagonist-Centered Morality - Live Action TV. It starts off with this:

Jim from According to Jim Yes, he is an Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist, and he often justifies his behavior with his Freudian Excuse (his dad walked out on him as a kid and the rest of his family weren't much better) and he does have some Pet the Dog moments, but sometimes, no matter how much of an ass he is, the show bends over backwards to treat him as being right. Some notable examples:
"The Garage Door" when Cheryl gets mad at Jim for not remembering something she said, he tells her that men & women's brains are wired to only remember certain gender specific things and block out anything else, with Cheryl rightfully dismissing it as BS. But, later she isn't able to open their automatic garage door, and the end of the episode has her basically admitting she was wrong.

One: That example has nothing to do with morality. It just has Jim being proven right about a point.
Two, for those who can't see, the "men & women's brains are wired..." link? If you mouse over it, it goes to "InsaneTrollLogic."

The idea, that men and women's brains are wired differently, is "insane troll logic" to TV Tropes. Even though there's real, science and scholarship behind the idea.

To top it all off, that was the very closing speech of the episode. "Men and women pay attention to different things - why do you have to make it a negative?" is a literal line.

What kind of autism is it when you miss the point of an episode even when it's explicitly spelled out?

The PCM page contains very few actual examples and 90% "I don't agree with the main character, so the show is treating them like a special snowflake and letting them have their way even when they're stupid and wrong JUST because they're the main character and not because they have a point".

Yep. And the main part of it is really solid which makes it so very disappointing.

Like the tropers themselves don't realize they are behaving as protagonist-centered moralists for themselves.

But they both can't handle criticism, along with the tard-wrangling that their occupation requires.

Fast Eddie was prone to nuke entire forum threads if they protested against him, and Fighteer is prone to thump tropers he doesn't agree with - or, in the screenshot I just showed - outright ban them.
Thing is, Fighteer was Fast Eddie's attack dog. Back when Eddie ruled the roost, if another troper criticized Eddie, Fighteer would be right there to back up his God. But if someone criticized Fighteer, Eddie wouldn't care that much... or just nuke them from the site entirely.

Who fucking cares? This shit used to be about defining the trope and then giving examples of it, not sperging about what a pussy you are and how triggered you are by it.
"Guys, I just really don't know if it's a good idea for us to be talking about wars and genocides and colonizations and stuff. It's really triggering you know?"

"This is the history department."

Mentally ill people can totally be dangerous. I don't know way you would want to ignore that.
Granted PC people are Mentallly ill in general. Considering that's who runs TV Tropes. So we shouldn't be surprised.
It gets ignored by how "rare" their violent outbursts are and even those gets blamed on substance abuse.

I can already tell this is going to be a passive-aggressive, pseudo-racist rant about how non-white minorities who vote Republican are an abnormality and fools/Uncle Toms. This trope has merit as a comedy trope where a group of people hold a political view that goes against what they are stereotyped as; such as redneck farmers who are in favor of socialized healthcare or a ghetto hood gang of African Americas who vote Republican because they will see better returns on their stock portfolios as a result.

Dont blacks tend to lean socially conservative on issues not related to black equality?

"Maybe we shouldn't talk about things like blood and organs and bones, it's so gory..."

"This is a biology class."

Of course, viewing a cartoon containing racial caricatures will magically turn a person into a raving racist regardless of their prior views on race, just like playing violent video games will magically turn a normal person into a frenzied mass murderer.

Hell by that logic. Because I like horror movies. That much mean I went from a normal human being to a deranged Serial Killer.
