It's very inconsistent in quality and I hate the episodes that people praise the most. I don't understand the acclaim its getting.

Now you know why All The Tropes utterly refuses to use ads (our Wikia branch excepted, but that's out of our hands). In fact, if no one else was willing to do it, I'd pay server costs for keeping our site up as opposed to ads.
Now you also know why ATT has no off-mission topics forums and we have a policy where we don't get offended over every little thing and tell those who refuse to comply where the door is.
