Social justice, not even once.http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/Dune tropers being bothered that the novel Dune displays some of that values dissonance.Because apparently a novel that has events taking place in the far future is problematic when having a fat villain that is fatphobia. Also something about racism and sexism.I'm starting to think tropers don't really like anything made before 1990 and even a lot of post 1990 stuff they dislike for whatever social justice reason.
In their (admittedly pretty shaky) defense, gay person and little boy diddler were practically the same thing in most people’s eyes back then.http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/Dune tropers being bothered that the novel Dune displays some of that values dissonance.Because apparently a novel that has events taking place in the far future is problematic when having a fat villain that is fatphobia. Also something about racism and sexism.I'm starting to think tropers don't really like anything made before 1990 and even a lot of post 1990 stuff they dislike for whatever social justice reason.

LOL, yeah, "fanservice" is the reason it's the most infamous, and totally not because of Classic Chris' dramatization of trolls that ended with face rape and unintentional pedophilia.
- The eighth issue of Sonichu, the most sexually explicit one, is also the most infamous.
Are you saying I wasn’t supposed to fap to this?http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BestKnownForTheFanservice

- Take That!: Daly is an obvious swipe at current entitled nerd culture, with many taking their newfound social acceptance to the point of being just as bad as the people who used to torment them.
- Also towards Fan Fiction writers who'd take glee in tormenting fictional characters as some form of a Power Fantasy.
What page is this autism on?brought to you by some of the most entitled pieces of shit on planet earth
What page is this autism on?
And Dethroning Moment continues to be a wretched hive of autism and nitpicking.
- ilovedededeAGAIN: The worst scene in this game is when Luigi gets turned into a trophy. King Dedede, my trademark favorite character in video games (hence my username) turns Luigi into a trophy. Wario then comes along (with trophies of Ness and Peach or Zelda) in his vehicle and plans on taking the Luigi trophy. But then guess what happens: a squad of Waddle Dees come and attack Wario (WTH?) and King Dedede manages to steal Wario's vehicle. King Dedede may be a video game villain, but he's not THAT bad for a villain (compared to Bowser or Ganondorf), so there was no reason the writers of the Subspace Emissary cutscenes had to turn him into a car robber (at least he gets better close to the ending). The worst part, though, is that Wario never gets his car back. The whole plot of the Subspace Emissary would probably change dramatically if King Dedede stole Bowser's car (yes, he has one too) instead, because back in an earlier level he turned Donkey Kong into a trophy. It would actually be better than stealing Wario's car, since Wario looks like a weak fighter, compared to Dedede himself and his horde of Waddle Dees (don't forget his hammer). Wow, Sakurai. You really did it this time.
- Cookieman: Subspace related, but something that really bothers me to this day is when Pit/Mario and Yoshi/Link join teams? When Mario/Link sees the other team defeat the opposing princess, they attack them ... not too bad, but why the heck would Mario and Yoshi not acknowledge each other and probably explain that it's a misunderstanding? At least there's a scene later on in the game where Mario actually rides on Yoshi.
- Skapokon: OK, call me a nitpicky guy, but it really annoys me when Trophy Descriptions in Smash get things wrong, specially the origin games of the characters. From minor mistakes such as saying that Meta Knight comes from Kirby Super Star instead of Kirby's Adventure to huge mistakes such as how the main Mario cast in Paper form debuted in Super Paper Mario according to Brawl, ignoring the 2 games that came before it. But the biggest blunder and the D Mo S for me is how Rayman (and his friend Globox) debuted in Rayman Origins. That's right, they completely ignored the entire Rayman franchise just so they can promote both Rayman Origins and Legends via the trophies. And even that doesn't make sense because Rayman 1 and 2 are on the 3DS (the former via DSiWare, the later via the port Rayman 3D), which makes me wonder if they made this mistake on purpose or whoever was in charge of the trophies legitimately thought that Rayman and Globox debuted in Origins.
- Midna: On the subject of trophies screwing up debuts, the PAL version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U identifying Lip's Stick as originating from Tetris Attack. As someone who really likes the universe of the Panel de Pon series and is desperately waiting for the series to make a comeback, this felt like a huge slap in the face after what was then seven years of no acknowledgement. I wasn't fond of Nintendo of Europe's relatively drab localization style to begin with, but this cemented it. At least the American version doesn't have this mistake.
- SenorCornholio: My dethroning moment has to be from, once again, the Palutena's Guidance conversations. Now, I want to go on record saying that, even though they're no codecs, the guidance conversations were entertaining enough for me personally. Some were good, some were downright hilarious, some were pretty flawed, and the DLC characters...get none of that. I'd understand that they probably didn't want to bring in Pit, Palutena, or Viridi's voice actors just for one or two snippets of dialogue, but that excuse goes straight out the window with Bayonetta's trailer. Here, we see Pit and Palutena talking about Bayonetta like this was one of their guidance conversations, and like that I was excited...only to find out when I got her that it's still the same damn "alternate dimension" dialogue we've seen before Bayonetta's inclusion. In other words, they lied. Okay. So let me get this straight: you can't bring Antony Del Rio, Brandy Kopp, and Hynden Walch into the studio for seven new DLC characters, but you can bring two of them in to voice for one stinking trailer? I can handle Tabuu's sudden appearance in Subspace. I can handle the Spotlight-Stealing Squad status of the Kirby characters and the Kid Icarus characters. I can handle some of the weaker guidance conversations, including further cementing Chrom's Butt-Monkey status. But you can't possibly convince me that them implying they'll give us new conversations, good or otherwise, and then not delivering on that is an okay thing to do. I couldn't possibly be more insulted if freaking Cat Mario got in. At least some fans cared enough to give us these
videos
. Kinda sad that the fans cared more about this than Masahiro Sakurai did...
Dedede really isn't much of a villain as Bowser and Ganondorf. Hell, I wouldn't even call him a villain.http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DethroningMoment/SuperSmashBros

Seriously, fuck this site.
That's not the only wrong with this. If you hadn't already, click the expansion on the quote to really soak in all that impotent rage, the kind that rivals CopperCab's temper tantrums.Dedede really isn't much of a villain as Bowser and Ganondorf. Hell, I wouldn't even call him a villain.
Values Dissonance: This episode is more looked down upon now than it was back then now that Bush has left office and we've grown out of the over-patriotic attitudes of the early 2000s. Of course, back then it wasn't exactly liked by some because of how heavy-handed it was in the political department.
- Values Resonance: On the other hand with the election of Donald Trump, some argue that this episode is now more relevant then ever(especially in light of all the controversy over people kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games).

Reality Ensues is one of the more interesting (for the right reasons) tropes on the site. Essentially it's when the story takes a direction that forgoes most storytelling tropes or cliches we take for granted in favor of a realistic approach. For an example, a superhero comic may feature a plot about the hero having to fight police trying to arrest him, as even non-lethal vigilantism is illegal.
Now, let's see what examples of this interesting trope that have been written up on the site.

lol they are trying to make futas something else when it is just degenerate shit
They do it for all actors, not just the voice actors.Has anyone mentioned their cult of personality over voice actors yet? While definitely better than z-list e-celebs, it's still pretty pervasive.
For example, they have an entire page called "Hey it's that Voice!", which is just an excuse to circlejerk about their favorite voice actors.'
They have also created pages for voice actors even when they're only notable for one thing (usually pony shit like Tabitha St. Germain), and have several pages whining about hollywood hiring celebrities for voice acting roles while ignoring veteran voice actors.
That last part becomes hypocritical when you realize that they do the exact same thing to unknown voice actors.
For example, they call the voice acting in Mario Sunshine and Star Fox terrible because the voice actors are unknown, even calling them "inexperienced" (a quick search would reveal that they're not that, just obscure), and call Kid Icarus Uprising's cast an "All-Star cast" simply because it hasoverratedpopular voice actors.
All while completely and unironically failing to think about how their favorite waifu voices started off as unknowns themselves.
