E3 is fucking dead and anyone with an brain is largely apathetic about it. But there's always that one person who takes an random topic seriously and it just so happens to be reviving the glorified dick waving contest and threatening to sue the company for their incompetence after some people were politely telling him that shit just fucking happens and causes stuff to die. And he was banned because he made an complaint thread and because the staff didn't feel like being involved in a lolsuit.

Here's his userpage, looks like he's Vietnamese, which certainly explains the retardation

Looks like the faggot is part of the Trope Pantheons. I thought that wankfest is dead.

Also, I found out that he has been unsuspended and is participating in the forums again. He even broke rules from the Pantheons that got him warned.

Literally no one talks like this, on the internet or in real life. I want to make that abundantly clear. Whoever typed that out is either 13 or trying way too hard to sound internet savvy.

Unrelated but I don't understand why "Values Dissonance" has a 20 year wait time when social norms can change within 3. Maybe it's an effort to keep the inmates from fighting each other over politics (even though most of TVT are liberals). I was looking at the Scott Pilgrim page and saw the VD was removed. I looked into it and those comics came out in 2004. It's gonna be 20 years in a few weeks. Oh but I guess you gotta go to the day, he says hoping I'll forget.

I just assumed that it was rubber stamped on the basis that people would forget most the gay slapfighting that's happening today within 20 years or so. But even then, that part of the site will just get flooded with the usual bullshit if someone still cared about it
 
So speaking about being apolitical, one of the guys who got banned over the Guilty Gear "controversy" had posted about it on Reddit and received an lukewarm reception to it. Needless to say, this qualifies as bad PR for the jannies and they've became slightly angrier than what they're normally are.


Random fanfic review gets subjected to an massive argument over the right to be criticized

What happened was a combination of:

- The OG userbase being unhinged, horny weaboos who needed pruning lest the site get the KF treatment
- The advent of the Troon cult, users started trooning out like pop corn.
- A bunch of liberal mods who went full-on Game of Thrones once Fast Eddie retired.
- An already sizable Atheist+ group of users
- The cranking up of woke in both media (the subject matter of the whole site) and politics
- The rot extending from the off-topic forums (a containment zone within the forums, themselves a containment zone to avoid people shitting up the wiki) into the wiki itself.
