If the evidence of "being a Lindsay simp" is his Nebula ad reads, then I'm gonna need better evidence. For all we know, everyone in the Nebula camp got that same video to include in their ad read.
Not everyone read the same ad, because I watched a video by fellow Nebulan (?) The Closer Look that was released 10 days ago and that ad read was for Patrick Willems' The Dinner Plan. The video was mid and I won't watch more of his content in the future.

Todd has once again been assailed by copyright goons.

Between the endless copyright wars on YouTube that somehow don't seem to affect TikTok at all and the stupid YT-speak (grape, corn, unalive/sewerslide, etc), I really do want alt platforms to succeed but none have the breadth or monetization potential of YT. Sucks.

I wonder if this is going to affect how long it’ll take to release his best songs list. Wouldn’t be surprised if it does .

Genuinely looks like an autistic Make-a-Wish kid who wanted to dress up as Batman
I’d go with Knuckleduster from My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, but that works too.
he made a direct shot at Todd with respect to Doechii's Anxiety.
So it could be on the best list because “stunning and brave”? I’d say there’s a chance he puts it on there because of the Gotye sample.

As for the rest of the list, considering his #1 best song for 2024 “Pink Pony Club” deserved to have an asterisk on it on the grounds of “really old song (by Billboard standards) that wouldn’t be on the list if not for more current songs making people want to go through her backlogs and elevate the songs in them”, I wonder if the number 1 song for 2025 will need some kind of asterisk as well.

Also, watching ABC last night, I decided to look up “The Subway” by Chappell Roan and “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters. Would not be surprised if both of them were on the best list. And speaking of Chappell Roan, I wonder if Todd will fall into the trap Buckley pointed out with “The Giver” and put that on the best list as well.

Since Todd is warming up to K-Pop Demon Hunters, I would not be surprised to one of those songs end up on the best list. Still glad I haven't heard any of them in full, I really don't want to.

I can be considered an 'early adopter' of Chappell Roan and man, that song is so mediocre. I do understand that she's still finding her way to follow up a debut album full of potential (the sophomore slump is a thing after all), but if everything is gonna be a low-tempo ballad like The Subway...nah, I'm out. Casual might've been devastating enough to work by itself but I don't think she's a good enough songwriter yet to go full on that direction with an entire album (even if I think The Subway is good).

I predict the new R&b-ers like Leon Thomas and Olivia Dean with a Teddy Swims song, and a few country cuts depending on his criteria on what qualifies. And he'll put a Clipse song or two so he can own the Draketards or whatever he says about that Canadian loser.

Don't care about the politisperging but I do agree that it's surprising that Choosing Texas became the hit. I will admit it's cheeky and the snark in that song makes me giggle but it doesn't really scream big hit to me. It did get to top 5 from holiday music evaporating and not much new music filling in the gaps, yeah.

Tard once again lives up to his name by claiming country music to be "woman-hostile".

Does that little hapa faggot know nothing of country music history?

Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, all of them made more money and had more hits than almost any man in country ever did.

Another year
I hate to give a faggot like Todd any credit at all, but I think he may be on to something this... It does actually feel pretty nice to ask AI whatever random retarded thing pops into my head and actually get a useful answer... Kind of like something I should not be allowed to have...
With that said, I'm not going to stop using AI to answer any of the retarded questions I have. Get bent Todd.

Don't forget Faith Hill and Reba McIntire. I'm just wondering where he got this idea of "women-hostile" from.

Taylor Swift? Wouldn't be surprised if "ditched country music completely from her sound" is one of the reasons people hate her.

Beyonce's "Cowboy Carter"? IIRC, somebody here ITT mentioned that it seemed that work was just her cashing in on a trend and just reveling in music critics and journalists talking about how "versatile" she is as an artist. (And now it seems Chappell Roan may get that same thing with "The Giver"). Hope you like the discourse about "gatekeepers".

I can't see the logic Todd has here.

If it wasn't for my niece and nephew, I still wouldn't know that there was a Korean version of Demon Slayer with K-pop singers killing the demons.

He said in his video about Faith Hill that the post-9/11 country music boom was defined by its men (Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson) and all of the women who were big stars in the 90s feel out of relevancy for some reason or another so for that reason women have struggled in country ever since then.

The advent of "bro country" as a derogatory term to describe country music in the 2010s certainly didn't help with that reputation.

Country music in the 2020s I think is largely defined by artists "going country" (Beyonce, Jelly Roll, Post Malone) and Morgan Wallen's total domination, so I think it would be fair to say that Ella Langley going big while being a woman and a country singer who was always been a country singer is a big deal even if you aren't a libtard.

Carrie Underwood was absolutely huge in the mid 2000s to early 2010s though. And let's not forget Taylor Swift. Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Sugarland, and Lady Antebellum had some hits as well. I remember hearing The Dixie Chicks' "Not Ready To Make Nice" on VH1 a lot too. The mid 2010s I can agree with being pretty sparse for female country artists though.
