I would argue it's not the worst of the 70s. There's just so much terrible music from that decade to choose from. It is, however, the worst cover song ever made. It took Brel's "Le Moribond", one of the greatest modern songs in the French language, that somehow touches on every sort of emotion a dying man might feel and mixes it perfectly into a lyrical cocktail of bitter sardonic comedy and sincere heartfelt expression and Jacks somehow turned it into the most mawkish sentimental musical treacle possible.

Todd's takes on everything are so boring and inconsequential while having the air of being written by someone who thinks that these takes are actually really important and insightful. He comes across as one of those people who feels the need to put every thought that farts into his brain onto Xitter. But tbh, to me that's literally the worst kind of Internet user (aside from pedos and shit). You don't need to acknowledge or legitimize every mental impulse through online documentation.

I’d say it’s just a meme. Mainly kept alive by people who don’t know what the word “amicable” means. That or this website has exposed them to so many burnt bridges and deteriorations resulting in enemies being made that they think that’s the only way relationships can be when people part ways. Cynical assholes.

Also, I’ve always felt that any accusations of being a Lindsay sip needs more solid proof than “he promotes Lindsay’s videos because Nebula is the only sponsor he can get on his videos, and Lindsay Ellis is the ad read of the day.”

Does he promote anyone other than Lindsay from Nebula? I don't exactly see him ending his videos with plugs for Extra History or anyone other than Lindsay and her inner circle.
 
Its funny how he complains about Seasons in the Sun while praising that Olivia Dean song, which is the same boring easy listening crap. I bet Todd listens to Delilah when he listens to the radio. Same milquetoast opinions.
