Me neither... By the way I read earlier in this thread you had a cartoon idea. What was it, just curious.
Pieguy is similar to Jonathan. The only difference is that he has been doing the same thing for longer (7, years). He doesn't yell at cartoons as much, but he still takes them very seriously. He obsesses over Spongebob and Adventure Time, more so with Spongebob. He has dedicated hours to attempting to review every single episode of Spongebob.
He's still spergish, but he's a little better.
I actually like his "every episode of SpongeBob reviewed" (probably because I'm a fan of the show), but to each their own I guess.Pieguy is similar to Jonathan. Thanks.Accounts living in the internet. Planning on having many internet references.
At least he doesn't lash on bad writers and has some decent criticisms.
he already has a patreon pretty sure it would be a video telling people to donate more to patreonI imagine Enter snapping and making a video whining about it failing and demanding large sums of money to make it a web-toon.

@Dilbertmann if you need an idea for the "Picture Day" parody, may I suggest herpes?
This.Sweet mother of mercy, so much delusion.
Friendly proposition to Nayolfa if he's still reading: Read about how cartoon production actually goes. I'm sure there's books or even articles about the inner workings of an animated series. Because it's pretty obvious that you haven't the singlest idea about how it goes. The storyboarding that they normally show in DVD interviews and the animation aren't the only parts involved. If it was something that was going on the internet, then you'd have all the time and freedom in the world to do it however you wanted, but you want to pitch this to CARTOON freaking NETWORK. If it doesn't look professional, they'll give you a lollipop and send you home. You'll embarass yourselves more than you alone already did on this forum. Not just you and Enter, but your entire team, will have their efforts amount to nothing.
So either get serious or get realistic.
You see this post? Read it 10 times aloud to yourself. And another 10 times.Probably not relevant anymore given the sudden turn of events in here, but...
Yes, most of that crap will be "revised and improved upon" while the pilot is being worked on.
Because, y'know, the story bible being completely out of sync with the pilot is going to impress...oh, that's right, absolutely nobody.
Honestly, if you want to learn animation, you should not be trying to immediately jump into making a full indie cartoon series proposal. The guy who did Double Rainboom? It's pretty much MLP/PPG crossover fanfiction and he had to work his ass off even with an animation college's resources at his disposal in order to get it done after multiple delays. And this is considering he already had several animated shorts under his belt that weren't even a minute long but as practice shorts to hone his craft they were rather admirable in quality.
You want to learn how to do animation? Go get Steam Filmmaker and follow the sample tutorials. Just those alone will do more for teaching you how to effectively create visually aided storytelling than working off of scri-sorry, I mean, IDEAS, with no concept of what you're even doing.
Wait, what?
You said you can't change anything about the pilot - evidently the only thing of focus for you guys right now - but you're "improving" things that won't be reflected in the pilot for some reason anyway?
Because Rooster Teeth's Red vs. Blue totally needed a television network to become huge.

As opposed to what, just throwing together absolute nonsense and trying to pass it off as a coherently plotted episode of a cartoon?
Hell, Axe Cop is pretty damn random because the chief writer is literally under the age of ten who just happened to have a professional comic book artist as an awesome older brother. Every single character is basically totally fucking insane, but even the original, nonsensical "stories" formed the foundations of concrete rules that must be followed such as the transformative properties of blood and how human unicorn magic has an auto-anti-evil-use functionality.
So when even a child who is now extremely famous because he made up a cop who runs around beheading bad guys with an axe understands the concept of everything needing to happen by pre-established rules of a given universe, you don't have much of an argument here.
Famous last words...
Wait...shit, this is the Brianna Wu thread isn't it?
So, essentially, you're stubborn and don't like too much criticism. Gotcha.Wow, this thread got aggressive really quickly. Since no ones offering anything new to help, this thread isn't helpful anymore. To those who offered useful information to the table, I thank you and I will use it to improve the cartoon.
Just remember, we already are set on learning how to make the cartoon through the pilot. And sorry if you think it's not an efficient way to make a cartoon, but it's working for the us. Everybody working on GA is learning new and useful things that will help them out in the long run. Hell, I've learned more working on this project about art than I did from a high school teacher.
If anyone has any useful tips on how to improve the cartoon toss me a note on my DeviantArt, it's the only website I really use.

I love this journal of his. It's nothing more than a extremely wordy version of "At least I didn't rip off anything popular! And, even if I was to, it's not illegal."
His version is animated, and theirs is live-action, but even then, that pretty much defeats any chance of his show being very successful on television, the very little it had to begin with.Discovery Family/Hub Network/ already has a show similar to this, it seems.
