SpaceX now officially has their FAA license for Monday's Starship launch attempt. Changes from previous license:

Also happening this week: Crew-13 mission arrived in Florida today; their trip to the ISS is scheduled for Thursday:
Spacex putting satellites into orbit is going to be pretty neat. Even with any future slowdowns or hiccups in the program. They can still stay on the wagon with this launch vehicle and be profitable. Crew F9 was delayed for years until the platform matured. But anybody who thinks Artemis is making the 2028 deadline is retarded. Starship existing as a platform helps the programs long term survival. Even if uncrewed, the payload mass alone makes lunar or deep space exploration irresistible. Large probes, cargo launches, building aldrin cyclers, etc. Any level of scope, it has a purpose it can be slotted into. Its just too cheap not to launch.

Sorry, chicom satellites are getting bent over and deorbited
Can't decide if larping or idiotic bravado. Be assured that the ones making the decisions got the message and the pure coincidences about space debris will continue if they try to saber rattle. Its not like, China has like a gorillion ways to tit for tat in asymmetric ways.

It would also lead to a really gay and retarded arms race in Orbit. On the one hand, based, it will definitely push space infrastructure and technology foreword. On the other hand though, incredibly cringe because it could fuck with a shit ton of peoples daily lives and have the potential to really get out of hand. Even if the war hawks in the various militaries do what they can to mitigate the possibility of Kessler Syndrome (they won't), there could also be second order consequences on the ground. Politically, Diplomatically, and possibly even physical as space debris rains down randomly.

Less then 2 hours to go for Flight 14 launch.

SpaceX official stream slated to start in 30 minutes.

Todays flight will, if it succeeds, be a test of the complete Starship stack consisting of Ship and the Super heavy booster. SpaceX plans to enter a complete orbit for the first time with Ship. While in orbit, it will deploy operational starlink satellites. No catch, so the ship will probably explode on splashdown.

No booster catch. Thundercuck no doubt declaring victory already.
Orbit insertion burn at 25 min after launch. If they do that, deploy, and re-enter without burning up or worst case lose control and crash down the road it'll be a big sucess.

Liftoff, I'm not psychic or anything but I had a feeling this would go on time.

1 engine on boost went out, sep good.

2 out on booster at this point, can't lose any more and make a good landing it looks.

Booster looked a bit hot on landing, but they seem happy.

Uh oh, 1 vacuum out on Starship.

Made it to nominal suborbit, gonna have to see if they'll do orbit or not now.
