IMO if "predator hunters" were serious about catching the worst people in the world, they'd pretend to be parents/family pimping out very young children. Really bored of hearing 26 year old retards getting beaten up or whatever for talking to a teen. Not trying to defend it at all, but that's clearly not the same caliber of misdeed.

Go after the many, many Ian Watkins out there, save the most vulnerable first.

sometimes they chicken out and the PC will use info to try to figure out where they live/work and find them there.

I've seen Predator Poachers do it many times, but I think they are more careful than Vitaly's dumb ass.

There are less people attracted to very young children and most sexual predators go for young teenagers instead, doing so would be harder and it’s also just less believable that a 8 year old is trying to start a relationship with you and meet up with you in real life.

Like in this instance. If the cops get called, what stops the pedo from just telling them that "these people surrounded me, started harassing me and yelling at me, and wouldn't let me leave" and deny everything else. The video "evidence" from the catchers would show exactly that. How is that going to help the catchers at all, unless the pred is flat-out retarded and confesses right then and there?

I fully agree that one of these catchers is going to get ventilated one day. Someone like the DAP guys is going to run up on an alleged pedo who actually has a 9mm and get shot. And all the guy who got "predator caught" will have to say is "your honor, this guy and his friends threatened to curbstomp me, so I feared for my life" and guess what? The catchers' video is going to show exactly that.

There's a suspicious amount of silence on what happens after the pedo gets arrested from these channels. I think it's largely because they lawyer up unless they're exceptionally retarded, and the case ends up dropped or being a plea deal for a slap on the wrist.

TLDR: These people are clout-addicted retards who probably have barely gotten any pedos sent to jail.

I could be wrong, but near the beginning of the video when the woman confronts the guy and shows messages on her phone, the wrongfully accused guy points and says that's not his account. It sounded like he said the last name was different, but same first name (Akash).

That predator catching team all seemed horribly incompetent. They probably chatted with lots of potential pedophiles to try to hook one and ended up getting the suspects mixed up because they're all retarded.

I agree that it would be good if more PCs focused on getting the really bad cases. Predator Poachers gets some really bad ones. One of the worst preds I saw was this guy waiting at the edge of some woods for some little kids (like 5-8-11 years old) with a big knife in his pocket, wearing forest green clothing.

They actively ruin nonce stings, because they don't work with the county or state police, whatever is needed for this. And then on top of that, choose to interfere with investigations by essentially entrapping the diddler. This can ruin months of work, give the pedo a W since it's shitty evidence and shows they were incentivized by outside forces to do something they "totally would not be likely to otherwise".

And best yet it opens the retards to conspiracy charges if they're stupid enough. It's why I don't really see their aggrandizing as moral as anything but bullshit.

You can say whatever you want about the motives of some of these predator catchers but it's an objective fact they have got some really bad people. Its not just tricking lonely adults into talking to 17 year olds like a lot of people seem to think.

Predator poachers in particular gets a lot of people arrested for CP and charges that are completely separate from the decoy sting they initially ran on the predator.
