Any of you remember The Lost Dominion? A fan effort to recreate the Angel of Darkness sequel that ultimately had to suffer the fate of all the other fan projects due its over ambitious nature and huge egos involved. Brief summary here. You can find the salt here and here, but tl;dr the project became overhyped beyond its members' actual capabilities, then the newest recruits bullied the original members out of the team over creative and political differences and who gets to hang out with Murti. The green cat bitch Jenni from the thread (the project's former writer, raging metally ill sjw feminist) became a prominent fandom member as a result, even though her only contribution was a glorified fanfiction she tried to pass as a "novelization" and appearing in various fan projects (if you're playing a TRLE level where Lara sounds like a 50-year old woman, yeah that's her). Although the failure is not her fault alone, as you can see from the threads above, all these hos were huge drama queens hoarding Murti's exclusive documents from the community and they all showed their true colors when one of the former members leaked them.

Late reply I know, but holy shit bruh. Imagine trying to revive a dead horse like an investment of a shitty fanfiction sequel of Angel of Darkness with Lara being portrayed by a low-quality voice actress of an old lady and top of that, a psychopathic feminist SJW writer who happens to quit midway through because nobody wanted to work with her on the project due to "political differences" or other over-the-top bullshit like that.
Lol, Tomb Raider forums are full of clowns, that at this point, this forum is sort of a mental ward than an actual discussion of Tomb Raider or video games, and this is speaking from myself whose been into the YouChew forums, mind you (a forum about YouTube Poop and all that also suffered a similar fate). Thank god I left both sites.

For every successful fangame there's about a dozen other fangames that either faded away or crashed and burned horribly like Lost Dominion did.

its quite frustrating how they changes lara croft from an actually strong, sexy and confident female character,
into a shipwreck of a woman that acts as ''strong'' but is all over the place, dramatic, and she's also much more bland and unattractive than her old self.
one day, we need to ask: will gaming companies listen to their first, loyal userbase, or will they keep bending over to the SJW lunatics that are complaining about games that they will never play?

Okay, so the someone who runs Calypsis Croft has a very good point as to why Croft has been asexual and doesn't partake in romance but moreso has been into archeology by traveling around to seek some adventurous needs, a trope that happened since the very first game and discrediting the comics, the movies, or the almost forgotten animated GameTap series as non-canon.
Yet, you get these awful romance stans who get pissy over that fact that Lara doesn't do romance and act as if her being part of LGBTQ+ in either the 2010s reboot trilogy and in the 2018 film mean serious business. I keep repeating that these nu-Lara stans are like either Reylo, SonAmy, or K-pop stans.
Another reason why June is a shitshow of a month.

They don't seem to realize them headcanoning her as lgbt doesn't negate the idea of her being interested in men because B stands for bisexual. But noooo, she has to be a dyke just to stick it to MEN. Fun fact, way back on tumblr we had a meme that you absolutely can't browse a tomb raider tag w/o the safe search off because there were always futa shit involving Lara and Sam, not even classic Lara. Popular steamer Melonie Mac is getting dogpiled for posting homophobia on TRF in 2004. Baby queers don't realize the internet was a completely different place back then. She doesn't give a fuck because drama gives her more traffic but this is hilarious to read.
