I expect Atlantis to be pretty bare bones. They probably felt they had to do it in order to introduce their awful bastardized version of Lara into the old lore. That's why they're making two games at once: Atlantis is the side slop while Catalyst, where she looks like an old Natalie Portman and it's filled with POCs, will be the main game.

I guess the effort is commendable, but she too was a miscast.
Imagine looking at Vikander and Turner and their boyish physique, then look at Lara Croft concept art and game models and concluding they are the perfect fit.

As far as I know the complete censorship was the removal of the swastika wall pattern, the character on the back of the bomber jacket of Pierre used to be a nude pinup and they put a bikini on her and some easter egg Lara poster was removed.

Seems Crystal got inspiration from the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition by hiring a mobile company, yet this one seems to be a full AI bros enjoyers... this must be a new yet not surprising lowest punch for any fan of this franchise lol.

Glad i purchased many years ago the originals on steam and as of recent discounts the games via GOG, funny enough on GOG the OG's tend to go on sale very often so may grab them as well.

Once again these gaming ´´devs´´ proving the consequences of touching masterpieces, twisting them at their heart content and spit on a team's good effort from decades about just to alter shit for modern audiences... fuck this shit for real and everyone responsible for it.

I am sure either Square Enix or Microsoft or I guess Amazon now is the one you are giving money when buying the remastered games.

And even if they had somehow managed to get a royalty kinda deal and those big three only get part of the money, you are morally obligated to pirate these games and not fund the enshittification of Tomb Raider by giving these publishers any money.
If it's not published and developed by a non-pozzed company you should always pirate.

Thankfully I finally updated right before this new patch dropped so I don't have the wonky nonsense. I wouldn't have updated at all but Tomb Raider 3's opening cinema was basically a slide show without a patch. No idea how the physical version plays. I see it at all Walmart all the time for $19.99 on the Switch.

TR really just cannot catch a damn break. I do not hold out hope the lazy mobile dev "update" will be officially reversed, and honestly, I wonder how long before something similar strikes the second TR remastered.

I tried to dig for a legit reason in that thread on why this is happening and was instantly reminded of how dogshit the comments on Reddit are.

Either it's something simple as it just being an optimization issue on whatever engine they are using for the PC port, or the mobile game is connecting to a bajillion URLs/ISPs in the background (which would also wind up turning the phone battery into molten lava and make your phone a ticking time-bomb).
