A fellow YouTuber Dominus Aurate has done an RTX remaster of the original 1996 game

Necrobumping because somehow you autists, zoomers and niggers could not give a piss about this thread, so of course I'm the only motherfucker who'll just post news here. I don't care if the franchise is long dead, I cannot be the only person who has to post shit here! Anyway with my sperg meltdown out of the way, here are the links for news

Netflix UK removes Tomb Raider anime:

Golden dual pistols used in Tomb Raider Reloaded:

If it's cancelled then good, since it's based on the reboot series.
We can only hope. The only good thing I can say is that Hayley Atwell got to play as Lara Croft, and that was it.

She would have been perfect in a live-action adaptation.
She would've, but the out-of-touch boomers over at Pedowood would rather cast a stick who mumbles a lot instead who happened to appear in movies that have been box office poison, as directed by an out-of-touch Norwegian who hasn't directed an actual English-language movie until he was hired to direct this goyslop shit.

This may be the closest thing to playing as a vintage woman in CoD. $20 to play Lara Croft in CoD or $20 to play a whole game with Lara Croft?
I'd say it's still a waste. The old classic games are the ones to play and they'll always be ones without the unnecessary DLC shit.

I see Tomb Raider: Legend on sale for $3. Is it open world or linear like Uncharted?

Just asking here, why do people like yourself have to compare classic Tomb Raider to Uncharted? You realize classic Tomb Raider came out well before Uncharted. This is not as complicated to understand as "which came first, the chicken or the egg" situation.

So to answer your question, yes it's both linear and open world, and it's still way better than Uncharted. Trust me, you will have fun with Legend and Anniversary as they are my personal favorite Tomb Raider games, and Keeley Hawes is the best Lara Croft.

Uncharted is my baseline of comparing action adventure games of that sort since I've played Uncharted before Tomb Raider. I'm pretty sure that Uncharted was inspired by Tomb Raider.

Yes Uncharted was, but it's not as good.

I haven't played an action adventure game in years. I'm used to first person shooters and GTA.

Last platformer I've played was Rayman Legends. I'm not a fan of platformers.
I'm not a fan of most platformers either (I also liked Rayman Legends), but I still think the Anniversary trilogy has a lot more heart than the shitty 2010s nuboot trilogy.
