So back in 2007, there was an animated anthology web series to promote the Anniversary game at the time called ReVisioned: Tomb Raider, where different artists and animators collab to create their own Lara Croft shorts, similar to Liquid Television, What A Cartoon or Oh Yeah! Cartoons.

I bring this up because, I found out from a Nov 2021 tweet by the original writer of one of the shorts that she's developing a spinoff series.
Keep in mind, this was over a year ago, so lord knows if it's actually confirmed.
 
...and you can have campfires that actually serve a purpose (giving you some buff if you cook stuff or get more sleep) other than just allowing you to teleport from one area to another.
And on certain locations like the Sahara desert.

I saw one episode of this back in the day and it was Lara in a museum or something brutally murdering security guards with headshots and stuff. It was very un-Tomb Raider.

Funnily enough, that's pretty much what the Laura of the original series became: a gun toting badass who killed people who got in her way, even innocent security guards, and stole from others as much as she raided tombs. It became one of the criticisms of her character.

And it was even established in Legend and Anniversary,
 
They need a western studio to act as a scapegoat.
Which is funny how they tried to use it as some Meg Griffin like puppet, because remember how Eidos, Core and pre-Squeenix Crystal weren't pozzed, except only Core was western dev died in 2010 while the two other western devs Eidos and Crystal have sold their respective souls to the devil.
 
Now that the Mario movie is the highest grossing video game movie, is it time for Tomb Raider fans to admit that Tomb Raider is no longer relevant than it was in both the 90s and 2000s, and that the 2001 movie being the highest grossing video game movie for nine years was all for nothing?

nah its still an iconic series alongside deus ex, hitman, and final fantasy
