It seems like Netflix has also entered the game race.

At this point, ownership between Netflix and Amazon is gonna be like parental custody.

i mean thats been a thing for a little while now. mostly focusing on the mobile game market tho. not a ton of hard hitting titles though they did have the best version of into the dead 2 as it has no microtransactions in it. now if they can port over tomb raider onto modern phones i'll listen

They will never port the classics to modern consoles or phones or whatever outside of PCs. We'll just have to endure them on the PC or try emulation.

@This Is Hard To Do
so, what do you think about the survival trilogy and the 2018 movie. You like them, don't you, right?

I haven't played them even though i got them, it looks disgusting famalam tbh. Don't want to watch the movie with the anorexic bitch either...
You retard nigger, I was only talking to Invisible Crane, just hoping to see if he'll respond to my post. You've just ruined the momentum.

This is what Lara Croft is gonna look like in a few years from now

Turns out the next game is going to be like that of Umbrella Corps or Metal Gear Survive where Lara Croft has a team of other archeologists

My question is this, why?

Well, at least the original nine games are under a dollar on Steam.

I just ignored any Tomb Raider past the ps1 titles because they didn't have a funny manor level. I didn't pay any attention to the Uncharted Series because too many QTEs & just looked like a video game trying to be a movie. So when the Tomb Raider reboot (2013) came out I thought, "Oh look, an Uncharted clone." I'm sure they're fine games but they had the same appeal as playing a Pixar Movie Game like The Incredibles. Everything is on a rail and you're gonna be watching many cutscenes in between generic "The Last Of Us" sneak-combat.

+The first Tomb Raider movie (2001) with Angelina Jolie is still great. Everything from the cinematography, set-design, & its story were fantastic. It goes to show that the late 90's & early 2000's still could pack a movie worth buying. Something with a cheap budget like Spy-Kids could be a pleasure to watch. Even the Tomb Raider DVD's main menu was enough to sperg out over. That type of talent is long gone. Maybe it's a combination of people going to art school, technology, & our culture being pulverized leading to an overall lack of ambition. The CGI was there in 2001 but it wasn't a crutch.

+I love the Lara Croft John Podesta/Getty/Shriner checkered floor manor from Tomb Raider III. You could lock the butler in the fridge or shoot him! Plus, the secrets/areas in & around the manor are a really great feature!

Yea the first Jolie movie is one of the best video game movies ever. I recommend you play the Anniversary trilogy from the 2000s. It is such a great continuation to the classics, and Keeley Hawes is my favorite Lara Croft.
