On that note, I know of someone who hates Classic Simpsons and likes Mid-Era onwards better than the old shit.Hot take: Simpsons was never good.
Of course the real best solution is just let the show end.Probably for the best, I don't want to hear a weird uncanny valley impersonation of Apu like Carl's new actor.
.
Who even watches the latest Zombie Simpsons in 2020 anymore?
NPC's.
Yes.Of course the real best solution is just let the show end.
They've been doing that for Martin and the twins too since Russi died. But I kind of disagree in this case, He might not have as many lines, but Carl also has some of the longest outside of Burns and Smithers, and that's when you can tell when Alex is faltering with the voice. The first few lines he sounds all right, but as the episode progresses and he's given more words per line, that's when things fall apart.I tried watching it, and I noticed two important details:
2/10.
- The actor is TRYING to sound like the original Karl, but still no dice. I give him an A for effort, but that won't cut it.
- You can REALLY tell the writers are deliberately trying to avoid drawing attention to Karl's new voice by having far fewer lines compared to Lenny or Homer. In fact, in the entire video he rarely talks at all, and it's pretty damn apparent that was done intentionally. If they made Karl say more lines and have longer dialogue, it would be painfully obvious to Simpsons purists like us that it's not the real Karl. Casual normie fans might not notice, hence why they barely had him talk.
I miss this Karl though (he's the one voicing replacement Flanders), I wonder what happened to him and why the show didn't give him more characters to voice. And also why he got replaced around Season 23 with Chris Edgerly.
I was saying boo-urns..."Cremated Remains Sitting in an Urn on the Mantelpiece" Simpsons
