Yes, having a character who is cursed by a misogynistic African cheetah god and transformed into a catgirl for his harem (I'm not joking, that's the character's current backstory) being played by a black woman is such a good idea.

I fell foul of the TMS Harry Potter ex-fans today, for daring to comment that a 1990s book aimed at British ten year olds didn't really need gay sex scenes.

TMS is always a fun read they have some of the dumbest articles out there.Any site that is even dumber than TMS?

I hope they don't use that. Even for a comic book that's hard to take seriously.

Judging by the comments i think the fans of TMS have no idea what terrorist organisation means. The first comment calls the NRA a propaganda terrorist organisation. While some comments might be over the top at times i think those folk really have no idea that there is a difference between ISIS and the NRA.Also TMS outlaws hate speech, personal insults and pretty much anything that is hatefull supposedly. But when someone calls an organisation not on any official FBI list as being extremist a terorist organisation TMS doesn't notice.

I don't think Vice President Pence cares as much as you guys think with your little book. Though I can see plenty of salt with the creators of Thump's upcoming book...

No effort but it’ll probably get the desired result anyway.
Looking back, it's probably an April fool's prank. Anyway, now that the Black Panther hype is dying down, the site is now obsessing over the Rosanne reboot. Mainly because how dare the show doesn't follow the Hollywood ideal like being obsessed with race, actually supporting Trump, and that there's POCs who have the audancity of not agreeing with them.

Have they reacted to Dan's comment about the TV shows about black and Asian families yet?

Do the people bitching about this realize that people who voted for Trump actually exist and if you purported to do a show about a blue collar family that didn't have a single Trump voter in it, you'd be basically lying and distorting reality? Do any of these people remember All in the Family, and that one of the greatest comedy series of all times had a character who was nearly diametrically opposed to the creator of the series, was a bigot, a curmudgeon, and yet, actually a decent person despite this?

They'd go nuts if they watched an episode of All in the Family. What they don't get is that Trump supporters can be good people and not every PoC acts like the ones on Everyday Feminism.

The idea that Roseanne's character would automatically be a Hillary supporter runs contrary to everything the show was about in the first place. Rust belt working class families are full of people who supported Trump, and in places like suburban Illinois, where the Connor family was supposed to live, you'd definitely expect to see mixed-politics families where there were kitchen table disagreements over who to vote for in an election like this most recent one. The only way a woman like Roseanne would vote Democratic is if she'd been in a union, enjoyed the higher wages and hadn't had too many problems, and wanted to see a return of union towns. But those kinds of Democrats didn't really have a dog in the presidential election fight, because none of them believed Hillary particularly gave a fuck about organized labor.

Also, these rust-belt types are exactly the people Hillary openly insulted and described as "deplorables." Somehow, Hillary supporters are amazed they didn't vote for her after she openly expressed utter contempt for them and their way of life.

Who cares? They'll all die off in negative 20 years according to my favorite blogs. Why shed tears over dinosaurs? It's you who has an issue connecting to people, bud.

This is what they think, isn't it? They don't think anyone born in recent years is going to grow up like this. They think Hispanic citizens will inevitably agree with them, even though they're generally culturally conservative. Despite Trump being overtly hostile towards Hispanic immigrants, somehow, he got a much bigger slice of the Hispanic voter base than Obama did.

Maybe people who immigrated entirely legally without breaking any laws actually don't much approve of illegals themselves? I don't know. But he got a chunk of that demographic voting for him. Democrats are absolute idiots if they don't face the fact that a lot of the people who voted for Trump were the very people who voted for Obama both times.
