I did a bit of digging and I figure that Patreon is curtailing porn accounts because of classic financial skittishness re: porn in general. An apparently common scam is to sign up for a porn site, rip everything, then file for fraud and get the money back so I'd give solid odds that Patreon is trying to cover their own ass more than shit on porn creators.

Just as an aside, why does every shitty article written for these awful sites have a second paragraph invariably written in first person? Am I supposed to resonate with tales of Princess Weekes' adolescence? Every one of these articles/blog entries has an accounting of the author's bonafides, as though anyone gives a fuck.

You know, I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Taylor Swift, it's like everything she does, she's got a bunch of intersectional feminists and SJWs sinking their claws into her. (God, TMS is about as obsessed with her as they are with Trump.) How dare Taylor not want to preach their talking points and keep a distance from politics. Especially when TMS and the commentators were acting all nice and supportive of her when some guy sexually harassed her and she called him on it.

Also, every man, even the trans ones are guilty of the sexual harassment fiascos going on these days. Since it's your masculinity and not doing exactly what these SJWs want them to. Also, check out the comments section.

I have no idea what you're on about with this Cis male anxiety is coming from but I suspect it's to do with some neurotic cretin is upset that various Holywood scumbags are up for the grill, something which is so alien to the average persons life as to be like becoming anxious due to penguins fallen prey to killer whales, I suspect you're too stupid to realize that a number of women are implied to be involved on some level (possibly instigators in facts) since the problem is institutional but we're talking about someone whose part of the status quo you rally against, prefering to lash out at the average 'cis' male rather than consider if the power dynamics of holywood are inherantly corrupt. Frankly I'm not even vaguely anxious since I don't sexually harass anyone and don't work in holywood. Personally I'm more worried about actual problems which relate to me.

But on subject you have literally no idea what it's like to be a male do you? I genuinly doubt you have much of a frame of referance for other women if you think this in anyway relates to day-to-day mysogeny. Do you even know what it's like to actually suffer? You're "fuck you" attitude implies a desire for vengance rather than justice. Your friends are either doormats or saints, I'd have ignored you and added you to the list of people I don't listen too.

The TL;DR is that Aubrey Sitterson a) stated on Twitter than anyone who is not a New Yorker isn't really mourning 9/11, b) changed an established GI Joe character into a fat black woman for ... some reason, and c) has a history of accusing people of being racists, bigots and/or Trump supporters. His comics have, up to this point, been received with a heartfelt "meh" by the GI Joe fandom. After the 9/11 thing, though, a leading Joe fansite announced that they wouldn't advertise IDW products until Sitterson was let go from the book, and gave a statement to BleedingCool to that effect.

I'm sensing that the person writing this article knows pretty much nothing about GI Joe. Diversity hasn't been a problem in the team since ... ever.

Anyway, IDW issued a statement about not agreeing with what Sitterson said, and the Mary Sue's writer is terribly torn up about it. I guess this means the terrorists win. The rest of the article devolves into the author angsting about being in New York on 9/11 and claims that those who weren't are "taking part in the grief out of some kind of national obligation."

This ought to be interesting to follow. GI Joe fans are serious about their autism.

Not entirely. They've done some pretty good things; it's a shame these licensed comics are taking the shine off of some of the really good things they've put out.
