And one would think nepotism isn't a thing. Either way, whether or not the art would of changed, would it still retain the writing such as Galactus being lectured on pronouns? If so, that wouldn't do much in the written department if that was another way to turn some people away from the comic.

It's actually worse than that because the good artist is Japanese while the awful one is (I believe) white. But at least they got right of that problematic cute art, riiiight?

Writing would probably have stayed more or less the same, but at least it would have looked a lot mess irritating. Good art can offset bad writing a bit, and vice versa.

EDIT: OKAY! So apparently they were slanted to do the art for the Squirrel Girl comic, but the current artist called in her friendship and got the job and they let the original artist go. It's a shame, because this version of Squirrel Girl...

I actually think the writing wouldn't have been as bad with the other artists, since writers and artists tend to vibe off each other, and I imagine two friends collaborating would have been a right old circlejerk.

I still don't get how this site is largely popular and quoted on wikipedia.
Being optimistic about future is problematic, because Trump is going to be a US president for 4 years...

They probably set Ryulong and/or Maddy Meyers (that friend of Brianna Wu's) on using them as Wiki sources.
 
Just watched the steven universe episode-it's primarily about conflict with an older conservative family member it's both sympathetic to his feelings, critiques but doesnt judge the gems obliviousness and provides a valid resolution to win him over through kindness, a willingness to meet him half way and our common humanity. I can see how Mary sue didn't like it since they can no longer approach it from the gems position of power as the enlightened victors. not realizing that they may in fact be the cranky old uncle who resents the gems presence in his barn because they don't match with ideals.
