Forget Post malone, where's a secret lair for these guys?? (Hell they should have done a soundtrack for the latest phryexian sets.)

Rather like Gloryhammer.
You'd be surprised at how many people in music either got started because of the game or make parody songs for it like this one (which actually isn't bad)
Though it's become more of a thing after MMO's died off and people stopped doing WoW music like Nyhm. Now it's Magic and Dungeons and Dragons.

Now it's Magic and Dungeons and Dragons.
To add to this, allow me to list a few more that I've found.
Gygax, who while mostly being D&D focused did a song about Liliana.
Paladine, who if you can't tell from the name, their songs are almost all inspired by the Dragonlance setting.
Charon's Claw, pretty damn new, I like a couple of their song, and their name is lifted from the name of a sword in a series of D&D novels.
Dream Tröll, who did one song loosely inspired by the D&D cartoon, of all things, but am obligated to list because they are my favorite.

Why would you unionize at all?
To organize bargaining for better conditions. In 'Merica individual worker can be fired and replaced quite easly, but if they band together and threaten to walk out if one is unjustly reprimanded, now boss can't just replace them all and there is a more even ground for baragaining.

Or to provide content for us. If this shit is real,
that's mighty funny at company side. I like to witness petty dystopian shit happening.

So, what is the point of unionizing an online TCG shop, out of all things?
They also own CFB, so it's probably more the writers and other people throwing a bitchfit. Most likely following in the footsteps of the troon Autumn Birch who got paid hundreds of thousands to stream Arena by WotC, only to never stream because of health conditions after walking away with the money. I remember they plastered that freak of nature front and center on Arena which made me not boot up the program for a while because of how grotesque it was.

Magic is one of the best IP's, ran by one of the worst companies, and composed of a player base of the worst people.

That's almost never the case and the person who benefits from it the most is the union boss while the workers get trapped in a situation where they can't advance, can't work overtime for extra pay if they want, and end up in just as shitty conditions as before.

You might get lucky with a union and things go well, but the vast majority are just there to take advantage of retards. Though at least they fuck over both the company and the worker in some cases.

>Person joins the WotC official discord server
>Decides to do literal gay ops just to stir up shit
>Someone attempts to groom him and when he calls it out they also try to gaslight him
>Reports it
>Mods shrug

Yep sounds about right

a lot of leftards have this super idealized idea of unions where they can be the greatest shitheel and then can hide behind the union for protection. think of that starbucks-beta video where working an 8 hour shift treating on his worker rights.

don't get me wrong I'm all for unions in principle, but for one workers have become extremely little shits, and plenty of unions poisoned the well for financial gain. there isn't really a way out of that besides things getting so bad everyone involved gets and attitude adjustment...

There has been drama in the cEDH community, as two members apparently tried to frame a moderator for saying racial slurs, only for them to try to DFE once they got caught. (Archived)

Here's the doctored screenshots:

Video of the investigation team looking at the Discord for those chats:

Google Doc of the incident and investigation.

The perps going into DFE mode once they were caught:

They also tried to go on the defensive with their claims:

This was the video that the defense used as investigation, although there have been ways to make fake Discord messages:

The organizer pulls the Justin Castro defense of "we investigated ourselves, and we found that we didn't do anything wrong":

The organizer also apparently attempted to make threats towards people that spoke out, going as far as issuing C&Ds (can you even issue C&Ds for that reason?):

Bump, as a Commander tournament/convention (?), Commandfest Indianapolis, announced a last minute change in venue, supposedly due to an NRA event, and because of "Free Parking". The venue that this event was moved to, apparently has a no-gun policy, and was the closest other hotel that has such policy:

And a Star City Games member conveniently obtained one of the serialized cards:

Wait a second, I recognize that chair.

Many Magic the Gathering players ask the question: "Professor, do you support sex work?"
And I say, yes. Sex work is real work.

A quick reminder, the *ahem* "Cosplayer" in question was bullied out of the cosplaying scene by Jeremy (i.e. The Quartering) in 2017.

Its pretty obvious that Brian helped out Christine make her "The Cost of Cosplay" video due to his fingerprints being all over the thumbnail.

Impact font, drop shadow, person in front of collage? Yep.

Proof? Maybe not. But its good enough for me.

I made a neat little collage of videos Tolarian Community Collage (AKA Brian Lewis) has filmed and edited with Sprankle.

Someone created an upscaled and cleaned-up version of the art of the card Time Walk, and the original artist, Amy Weber, proceeds to throw an absolute temper tantrum:

And in the usual Soyboy fashion, he deletes the post and apologizes. Here's the original art, as comparison:

She then continues her temper tantrum, by ripping up an artist proof of what appears to be a 5th Edition Scryb Sprites, with a sketch of the Time Walk art on the other side:

I don't even recall Chris ripping up his art in this fashion, and I don't see him doing that, even if someone makes an "improvement" version of his art or comics. And to think that Chris would be more sane about his artwork, compared Amy Weber...

Isn’t she like 50? This level of hissy fit is absolutely psychotic. Looks like the dude got a lot of backlash and deleted just to disperse the lynch mob she sent for him. Still a cuck, but understandable not to want to deal with these people.

Shame because her art works at card scale pretty well.

absolutely psychotic

I wonder if she had the same schizo reaction to Walk the Aeons when Time Spiral was printed. Something Wizards really likes to do with new powerful cards that allude to effects from old, broken cards is give them artwork homages.

Or like this one from Mark Tedin that never got released: [a] (sidenote, the article is pretty good)

Or when they did new art for Time Walk because they didn't want to pay her royalties, which I would personally find most offensive if I were the artist, because it means I'm not getting paid.

I suppose artists are never really the most stable of people.
