Their sole fucking defense during GG was simple: "Allowing GG to speak at all means condoning harassment." That is
literally 100% of the Anti-GG argument. And these clowns were
shockingly effective at making it work; with the media on their side countless buddies in position on various Social Networks, and a huge amount of reach in and of themselves, they were able to shut down the overpowering majority of discussion of the Quinn scandal, and, later, GG.
They threw
everything at this.
Giant harassment campaigns.
DDoS attacks against journalists who dared to even give GG the courtesy of a fucking neutral discussion. Pants-shitting Autism extinction events wherein
MovieBob accidentally his career.
Gigantic lists of sites to attack and attempt to defund, users that needed to be blacklisted, and events that needed to be stopped with Bomb threats, and that was just in the first four months
alone, and doesn't even scratch the surface of shit
tangentially tied to these fucks like the FE:Fates controversy or Dina debacle.
General consensus among anyone who's chronicled the Autism Wars of GG is that while GG essentially won its sperg war, Anti-GG still had enough PR wins and caused enough obfuscation to still eke out partial wins on its own (something visibly indicated by what Ryulong did to GG's article, which still remains a thermonuclear hellhole from which only Autism can escape).
Thing is, they still were able to control narrative pretty well. We saw that shit with the cover up of why Alison Rapp was really fired, the sudden complete drop of interest when Nintendo gave Quinn a big
NO to her "NINTENDO ENABLED HARASSMENT OF ME," the ongoing abuse of backchannels and double-standards to shut down wrongthink, and so on.
They have that no longer. And it's abundantly clear from every single person who is mocking these irrelevant fucks openly.
