I know this might sound amazing to Quinn or any of her sycopants who lurk on the Farms, but it is gasp possible for people to move on and not be defined by their Twitter accounts from nearly half a decade ago.

Honestly, the fact that this is being dragged up just confirms what I thought about Quinn- she's so desperate for the spotlight that she's ruining any pretense of GG having been harmful for her, because she wants to keep reliving that period of late 2014-early 2015 where she was the industry darling despite being 'at threat.'

No one cares about Gamergate anymore, accept for the people who drag it up so they can smear a successful trailer and feel good about themselves. I honestly feel kinda sorry for them that this is what they have to live for.

Because say what you will about us Kiwis... but at least we can log off the internet and not feel crippled.

Ya know I hate to do this but in gamergate's defence, its big proponents got up and did shit with their lives.

Breitbart (the first media source to support GG) is now one of the biggest news sources on the planet with influence in the goddamn white house, TotalBiscuit and Boogie and similar youtubers who were pro/sympathetic to GG have exploded into further popularity, heck even the likes of Ian Miles Cheong helped found HeatStreet which just got bought out by fox news, and jesus fuck look at goddamn Cernovich, he may be a full on tard but he sure as shit is raking in the green and goodboypoints from the right wing.

Meanwhile Quinn and sarkeesian have zero career outside of out of touch institutions occasionally paying them to appear so they can look "woke", the bigger "GAMERGATE IS HITLER!" tards like chris kluwe, arthur chu, graham lineham, anthony burch and co have lost any prospect of a career or influence outside twitter, heck even wil wheaton and felicia day are fading into complete irrelevance, and as for brianna wu....well.....you get the picture. Adding to this is the fact that the blogs/media sources that pumped out the "GAMERGATE IS HITLER" narrative are dying fast and you have a pretty clear contrast

Ofcourse the main reason for all of this shit is not because the spastics of gamergate are inherently smarter/better than the spastics opposing gamergate, but because the spastics opposing gamergate latched onto old media and actively excluded pro gamergate spastics from them, which means that pro gamergate spastics were forced to create new media or join up with new media and thus were able to ride the wave to success, while anti gamergate spastics found their media and institutions crumbling away.

Or to put it in the most autistic way possible, gamergate was just on the right side of history.

anti-gg is the most fucking commercialized version of 'punk'. It's over-commercialized bullshit by trendy hipsters who usually are from fairly affluent families and are often in the 'in' crowd, socially speaking. Like, not to say that GG is any less unfathomably autistic, but they're at least social outcasts and losers and shit. That's arguably truer to 'punk' than aGG is.

Realtalk the game concept sounds interesting if a bit preachy. I don't think many video games have ever described a "post-work" era of humanity where everything is automated and people have no "identity" defined by their work.
 
Are they exclusively upset about the developer or are they going to boycott everything Microsoft as well?

Feminist thing most likely came from some tweets the dev made three years back when GG was a thing. Even then, that's a long enough time for one to reconsider and not make a game based off some warped world that would come from the mind of someone like Homer. In all honesty, the game does look more or less a post-labor future but some people within this salt may as well project their fears and whatnot.
