Yeah, my concern would be that he doesn't separate the two. I can always bail if he gets too intense, but I am used to needy and demanding and abrasive so I think I can handle it long enough to get something mildly amusing, maybe. It's totally up to him. You can lead a horse to water and all that. He'll probably ignore me but I'll give it a go.

It's just like fishing, all about timing and angles. Tread slowly enough to make sure he doesn't think you're too good to be true. Find an angle, something really authentic to attach a fake self to. Do you have a dA account? It'd look really suspicious if you PM'd him from a completely blank and recently created one.

I do have a DA account, yes. My issue with that is that it's linked to my identity in a certain community, even though I really only use it to upload pictures of my work. It's not linked to my real life at all though, so I'll use it. If the members of that community see me rping weird fetish shit with Jay it doesn't really matter to me, LOL.

I don't want to use an angle anyone else has used before, but I'm not really sure what hasn't been done.

I've had long hair for a while. It really doesn't work if you have bangs (as a guy, anyway). Like someone else said earlier, it needs to frame your face.

I don't get it trimmed at all, really. Just use conditioner and brush it.
 
So I'm at my friend's house (the friend I bought CWC's autographed picture for, so she's familiar with That Side of the Internet) and she mentioned sadism which made me think I should explain TGK since I knew she'd find it funny. I mentioned The Golden Knight and talked about his webcomic a little and she said "Oh my gosh I know who you're talking about!" and characterized him as "that guy who was trying to get a girlfriend over deviantart and was asking her a bunch of questions and stuff". Schiessen you are famous

For those who said he looks like Matt Smith, he actually looks nothing like him. Matt Smith may not be my 'Doctor' for sure (as I'm a David Tennant fan) but he is far better looking and he seems to be healthy and has to be as he is an actor.

I don't think anyone was saying GK is on par with Matt. More like he bears enough of a resemblance that he could cosplay as him-- albeit a less charismatic version.
 
To be fair though, if a guy that looked like that showed up to fix my computer I'd be all like "Hooray my computer is saved."
 
Then he'd come home and write a journal complaining that some guy had this unrealistic expectation of getting his computer fixed.
I'd like to state for the record he had to dither around trying to get his headset to work for like a good 5 minutes when we played Terraria together. I can't imagine how he handles actual computer problems.
