Being able to see porn on a non-porn site the greatest birthday gift? Fuck the gift of life I can see poorly drawn bewbs! For someone who talks about the internet being the Wild Wild West he sure is a pussy about shit.

Seeing porn that is restricted to under 18's for the first time feels like having dignity but for the wrong reason. I admit, I looked at mature filter stuff when the filter got enabled when I turned 18, but only on my friend's work who thinks was scary but was actually not that scary than seeing porn from dA on another topic or reading the Beano when it comes omorashi.

However, seeing porn (or drinking, having sex or smoking) doesn't mean being mature, being mature is when seeing sex related stuff without giggling like a school girl. Even 13/14 year old in my form at school when in year 9, actually took the topic STDs very seriously as a class project and the form tutor was proud and saying they were mature.
 
I've gotta say, I'm not actually all that surprised his best birthday gift was being able to turn on the mature filter on DeviantArt. I wouldn't mind betting his trail of thought whilst he was 17 was that if he visited a porn site, the police would knock on his door 5 minutes later because technically it's illegal. He obviously struggles to see a world beyond himself, so I wouldn't mind betting his extreme anxiety of breaking any law is down to a paranoid belief the authorities have the ability to watch him 24/7 and care about his every move. It could explain why he fantasises about being an action hero of dictatorial proportions, it's his little fantasy world where he can kill and torture whoever he pleases without consequence.

I'm just still amazed how he's slipped through the net and gotten this far without people who he has regular contact with raising his obvious psychological problems as a genuine concern. Man's clearly disturbed and needs to see a mental health professional ASAP before he turns into the next Issei Sagawa.

It's kind of inhuman in a Terry Pratchett's Auditors way. At what level of imminent danger would he have to be before he went through a door marked 'NO ENTRY'. Curiosity is pretty normal and it seems that he might have still had the adult filter on google images at that point... For someone who is as horny as he claims to be, not looking at boobs until you hit the legal age is weird.
