CDPR's no different than any other video game developer/publisher. They're pretty progressive, just look at the their employee's twitter accounts. You've got pronouns, gay flags, anti-Trump stuff, etc. I'm not sure where the idea comes from that CDPR/GOG are somehow these 'based' Eastern European messiahs. Poland isn't Saudi Arabia where conservatism is enforced by law. The CEO of the company also has a very friendly relationship with Kotaku, which tells you all you really need to know.
It's irrelevant, though. At the end of the day, they're a global business and no business wants to be associated with this sort of stuff. It's not worth it, especially when it's such a saturated market that you can kick a rock and find fifty other more qualified employees who don't have all the baggage.
I get your point of view. But which global company announces who their database monkeys and forum scripters are? They announce directors, project leads, etc
