IIRC it is true that Vordrak has contacted Dick and tried to pressure him into kicking Josh from NP2. After getting kicked off so many platforms, the fact that Dick has already established he won't be intimidated makes him more valuable to Josh than any random Patreon alternative.

CDPR's no different than any other video game developer/publisher. They're pretty progressive, just look at the their employee's twitter accounts. You've got pronouns, gay flags, anti-Trump stuff, etc. I'm not sure where the idea comes from that CDPR/GOG are somehow these 'based' Eastern European messiahs. Poland isn't Saudi Arabia where conservatism is enforced by law. The CEO of the company also has a very friendly relationship with Kotaku, which tells you all you really need to know.

It's irrelevant, though. At the end of the day, they're a global business and no business wants to be associated with this sort of stuff. It's not worth it, especially when it's such a saturated market that you can kick a rock and find fifty other more qualified employees who don't have all the baggage.
