Man after the whole Plainrock thing and Kovach apologizing you just realize he's a whiny little piss mongrel. I remember some channel gained controversy because they used his voice with generative AI, and he said: "I've never felt more fear in my entire life." What a fragile human being. Like hearing my voice with AI would make me pretty uneasy, but it gets to a point.

Huh? They use a sweatshop for the merch and dont pay their animators jack shit. They might be bigger slave drivers than spindlehorse, SOMEHOW.
 
It took me a few days to get though that, and while it was as lame and gay as I was lead to believe I don't think I've seen none of you niggers talk about its greatest sin.
Where are the jokes?
It would be one thing if they were just bad jokes I didn't find funny, but there's like nothing. The most to be said is that one looney tunes sequence, and even then it's ultimately to make a point where they talk about their gay little feelings.

The joke was meant to be on the audience. The punchline is that they spend $12-20 (popcorn not included) to watch something that was a complete waste of time.

It's so much more mopey than any other episode yet doesn't do jack shit with stuff established in the prior episodes building up to it. Even caine fucking dying gets undone without any reasoning behind it other than him deciding to stop being dead.

Yes he was aware. To the shock of no one Goosewoork is a liar. But we have hard evidence he was aware of Soma Theory because Matpat. The Matpat film theory episode he dedicated to TADC was about Soma theory.

Episode 4 has a Easter egg dedicated to him and his video. A book in Caine's offife is called Matpatt theory.

Unless someone wants to argue he decided to reference Matpat for no reason, or that he despite, being obsessively overseeing every single detail, was somehow not aware of this, which to me is cope.

To me it's clear this was a shout out to that Matpat video. How could the TADC crew not be aware one of the biggest YouTubers made a video on their work?

you know, after he did that thing. I don't know why the fuck you keep glazing a dude who's every other "theory" thing he says about media is "THEY"RE DEAD/NOT REAL/SECRETLY ALIENS/GOD" shit. The guy's infamous online he's gonna be referenced as a blink and you miss it gag. A gag is not a "oh he's the RIGHT one the whole time!" thing it's a reference to a funny Internet thing because this is meant to be a funny Internet cartoon. Building towards a definitive end state only to rug pull and go "haha nothing real nobody real all brainscans and abstractions are just permanent somehow even though everyone's just data" just screams they NEEDED to keep the merch going so it's open ended with them still stuck there forever so infinity slop sequels are a coming. (maybe)

EDITX2: Also the matpat theory book is directly referencing the FNAF vids because it says "volume 17". Hhe kept just pumping out "parts" for that one and it flooded everyone's youtube feed for a few years tot he point it still gets referenced.

I think what angers me more is that none of the fun events "spoiled" in the trailers for the movie that supposedly happen in it actually happen in it.
it would have been a better experience, especially the ending where ███ █████████ ███ ██ ███ ████ ████.

Oh, this is why I was reminded of Dark Matter in the first place!

In that show they actually lose all their memories, i.e. it actually makes sense to sit them down in front of a screen and show them who they were, because none of them can remember! But for TADC (and this is why I was actually getting confused writing my prior post) this doesn't actually happen. They don't remember their name, but they remember their lives. It's only a mystery to us, and a mystery to each other, because for whatever reason they seem to be unwilling to tell each other their life stories despite some of them being stuck in limbo for nearly a decade.

It genuinely feels like something that happens only so WE can see it, not because it's interesting to any of the characters! And why would they want the others to see their lives if they've been so coy about talking about them all this time? Moreover, like you said, for Pomni it's been like 2 weeks since entering the circus, at the very most, so she's not gonna be super intrigued by what her real self is actually doing.

Additionally, Gooseworx already went on record that characters who abstract cannot come back, so the entire idea of Pomni saving Jax was already dead on arrival.

So anyone who's been following the show in any further detail knows that the moment Jax is revealed to be a blob, that it is already over for him. Spending 20 minutes fucking around with his backstory is just adding insult to injury, literally just something done so the audience can get some answers. Spending even more time exploring the character's social media is also just done so the audience can get some answers. It serves no purpose in terms of the actual plot, meaning that in reality? Nothing actually happens in this episode. Caine disappears and comes back, Jax kills himself. The end.

What puzzles me the most about this show is that it's clearly Glitch's most successful production and... this is it? Just 9 episodes, no season 2 announcement, no spin-offs? Why? The first episode had 435 million views on youtube, this is more than the views for the entirety of Murder Drones (yes, the entire series! 435 million vs 376 million) and that's their second best show on the platform.
I would love to know why they're essentially slaying their golden goose. Did they fuck up and made the whole thing unprofitable somehow?
