I think "Jax abstracts off screen and becomes a braindead, docile dog forever" is a better spoiler. I wasn't a big fan of Jax, but he was still an interesting character. His end was such a shitty, lazy, half-assed ending based on the character progression and foreshadowing of previous episodes.
They could have at least given us a satisfying, interesting, or even fun abstraction scene. Like he jumps into the abstraction pit shouting "Leeeeeroy Jenkins!" (hinting he knew his name was Leroy, giving it a hint of more mystery) while all the abstractions rush toward him and devour him right as he becomes one of them. Then all the characters being annoyed at him as they watch his abstracted form stumble around confused would at least be funny. He always did want to be the funny one.

While i bet jax is trans its interesting that human jax seemingly isn't. He still has a male name and appearance. I guess it could be interpreted as multiple kinds of queer, or just that jax likes crossdressing. It may be so ambiguous for rainbow crowd capitalism reasons, they want to capture everyone's money.

How come barely anything is explained in any greater detail than what we've already seen?
How come the one vaguely trans character in the show made by a trans person immediately kills themselves after we find out they're probably some kind of trans? That's kind of concerning.
Is this like a fakeout rough cut they leaked on purpose as a market ploy? It doesn't seem very likely but this all feels so incomplete I can't help but wonder a little bit.

2. Everyone involved with the show knows season two is going to happen eventually and they are leaving shit open ended for when Goose eventually dues it

Yes, Goose has had a working relationship with the devs of Voices of the Void for a little while now. The main dev added a monster Goose dreamt up like two years ago, and he also added a plush based on Goose's triangle-head sona to the game you can purchase as decoration.
Although idk if there's anything present in the game of Goose's beyond those two references, I think at this point he's just as relevant to the game's development as any other fan now.
Thinking back, it's kinda strange that Goose made the claim that people's theories are wrong. The Reddit incident proves that Goose doesn't actually interact with parts fandom beyond the surface level. A bunch of randos discussing an average complaint with the show was something "new" to him and he reacted as if no one has ever criticized his writing before.
Did Goose even know that the SOMA theory actually exists when he said he hadn't seen any theories that guessed the ending? or was he just talking out of his ass?
The ending that Goose wrote pissed off the lore-crafters AND the "character-driven" show fans Goose kept trying to desperately to culminate. Theory-crafters are mad that nothing about Scratch, the circus, or any of that shit got answered. Character-driven fans are mad that every character got shafted for the sake of developing only one or two. Jax fans are mad that their favourite, who seemed to be showing small signs of change not even 2 episodes ago, died and got put in a human zoo. Jax haters are mad that he never apologized to anyone he hurt, or faced any consequence, he just got to kill himself like he always wanted. Literally every angle of this finale pissed off almost every subgroup of its fanbase. ANY ending would have been better. Caine fans stay winning though.

Bottom line Jax is the common trope of "everyone who hates gays and troons is secretly one of them" mixed with an even more unlikable Shinji Ikari (if you can believe that is even possible)
The rest of the film is just everyone being queers and crying over everything. I bet if you drank every time someone cried you would wake up with alcohol poisoning.

Dianne Monteiro's name is plastered all over the leaked videos. Who is she? I assume these are watermarked for copies sent to voice actors and creators to watch in advance. I've seen similar things like The Sims 4 putting watermarks all over their new releases for content creator exclusive downloads to try before official releases.

The VotV devs love adding little references from creators and games he likes, IGP, Vinny, Joel, SCP, and more recently Abiotic Factor. I guess him adding Goose stuff into it isn't surprising, I just never made the connection.
