What happened to C&A? Why did Kinger just leave his and Scratch's advanced AI creation on a fucking computer somewhere?
How do they still have power?
All these questions will never be answered, because there is no possible satisfying answer!

it was ok written but instead of delivering on any of the things hinted at they jsut went "everyone is a clone just do nothing and jaxx off OOOO so deep and subversive!"

ONCE AGAIN CAINE'S MOTIVATION MAKES NO SENSE IF THEY ARE CLONES BECAUSE HE CAN JUST CREATE DIGITAL PEOPLE OUT OF NOTHING AND HE DOESN'T WANT TO FORGET WHO IS A REAL PERSON AND A DIGITAL NPC PERSON WHYT HE FUCK WAS HE WORRIED ABOTU THEM LEAVING IF THERE IS NO ACTUAL WAY TO LEAVE AND THEYR'E JUST NPCS WITH EXTRA STEPS

it's all just so they can possibly do sequels later and milk it into content farm death I'm calling this shit now for when there's a season 2 announced inevitably. It's why everything built up towards over the last 7 episodes gets unceremoniously rolled back, ignored, and slathered with video essayist service of "no they'r all just ai data people anyways oooo!"

I would guess because he had to go through all that effort to get to the folder labeled scans it wasn't available to him?

Does not explain not fixing the abstracted though. "Yeah I found backups but I wont roll anything back to fix the pile of corpses in the basement"

Frankly, it would've been more interesting if the whole 'we were brainscans' thing was revealed a few episodes ago, and Caine tried to 'fix' things by bringing back shoddy backups of the circusgoers.
Seeing this shoddy AI trying to bring back equally shoddy versions of the people you care about would've been a neat mindfuck

I like to imagine that in Caine's office there is a counter representing System Uptime and it's at like 536112000 seconds or something and like, SURE he could bring Ribbet or Kaufmo or Jax back with a system reboot, but then like... the counter goes back to 0.

If they are taking pages from SOMA then maybe it is like the protagonist of that game. He was dying and had a brain scan only to wake up in the far future because his brain scan was used as a template for AI virtual reality experiments at the facility and something put his brainscan into a new body that resurrected him. She got hit by a truck, got brain scanned, the guys behind the VR world got ahold of the brain scan for testing reasons.

Every trans content creator seems to have a complete mental breakdown and quit their art. Same thing happened to the creator of the game Celeste, he shelved his following game after years of development even though he already had released 2 critically and commercially successful games.
It's almost as if being trans is a mental health issue.

Nah, this can't be it.
Not with what we know about things.
By the time Ragatha, who entered the circus prior to Gangle was in the circus, it was already bankrupt and up for sale.
She's just there because nobody thought this shit through.
 
In hindsight, I feel like this is a cautionary tale for why creatives should not be given total control over their project.

Did we never learn from the failure of Hazbin Hotel? Both of these shows really are the same. Both steer away from the premise shown in their respective pilots. Neither can properly carry out compelling arcs that had early potential to be interesting. Neither GW or Vivziepop can listen to critique until its too late, and regularly crash out due to their hatred for their own fandoms.

GW admitting the show blew up beyond their skill level and that they probably shouldn’t be the figurehead could be a very becoming statement... but this all could have been avoided if they hadn't spent the whole show saying they weren’t going to change the episode scripts, even though these problems were all complained about really early on. They had three years worth of grace to actually course correct based on the criticism they were getting. Did nobody at GLITCH warn GW about the reaction EP 9 would receive if they refused to change shit? Is there really no one trying to tardwrangle this script right now?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I’ve heard GLITCH offered to expand TADC into a second season really early into production, and Nooseworx turned it down. I assumed that offer happened because GLITCH realized the story probably couldn’t be told properly in only nine episodes, but chose not to push harder out of respect for creative autonomy. I can't believe they put their foot down for a theatrical release instead of for fixing these glaring problems. It really was all about money for these people, and always will be.

What hacks. It really is bleak for western animation.
 
How did C&A even go out of business if they can build not one but two hyper-advanced sentient AIs AND take perfect brainscans of people and smoosh them down to a tiny size apparently without losing anything of value in doing so and also create a mini-matrix VR environment for these sentient programs to live and interact with as if it were real?

The events of the show take place in 2017 and a bunch of the characters were there long before that, so apparently C&A was pulling off Aperture Science level shit in the mid 90s and yet still somehow went under? How??

You're telling me this podunk little company basically created fucking TRON and still somehow managed to shutter it's doors and become abandoned?
