But even stranger that, goose has basically "unsubverted" Jax and proved those fans right. Despite hyping jax as irredemable so much and painting him as simply a troublesome jerk for the first half, goose would then go all out to ensure jax the most unsufferable trope of millenial cartoons. A depressed traumatized protagonist who only pushes others away to cope and must be "saved" by his friends.
I ended up being right on the money with my predictions and the only thing that made me doubt was Goose themselves saying out loud on social media "Erm, akshully Jax is like the evilest character in the show? M'kay?" rather than the show itself doing the work.
Amazing. Welp, I told you niggers so.

Yeah I don't have the time to watch it myself but just skimming over the comments I have to agree with some I saw. I thought it was painfully obvious that Jax is the guy who is intentionally trying not to care, burying his feelings under this nihilistic act of his in a desperate attempt to keep himself sane. In fact I'm pretty sure I called this months ago even. The only thing that threw me off of this assumption was Trannyworx implying Jax was just flat out evil or something but who knows, maybe to zoomers he is evil. But to me I just see a man who fears connection because he's lost friends before so he intentionally acts abrasive and pushes people away from him so it doesn't hit as hard if they abstract.
I called it. In the tranny's bid to try and be unpredictable he still couldn't manage. Well done!

Has no one else has gotten the goddamn memo? no, Goose wasn't changing and rewriting shit in the middle of production due to fan reception, all of this shit was set in stone before the pilot was even released that has been publicly stated for the past two years now.

I actually do like how Jax's character arc of self-destruction has been going so far, and I hope this is the one time his resolution is done right enough to leave the show with a positive opinion even taking in the flaws that have cropped up, either by refusing help and finally capitulating to the madness as a tragic and cautionary tale, or he gets saved by Pomni being the determinator that she has consistently shown to have, and I sympathize with all the other fans that might not be that interested in him and his arc and gravitated to the other characters that had far less, far hastier development and an unsatisfactory resolution to their own respective arcs.

Those are really obvious shitposts and when people argue Jax is the other main character they don’t use these as proof. I guess since Caine is in them he’s the third main character?
No, those are the napkins pitch notes to give the team a low res idea of what tone of the show is gonna be like before production. The simpson had a similiar one on an actual napkin iirc. The fact the pitch has only 4 characters, and half of them are Jax should tell you that, yes, he was always meant to be the secondary MC. And... yeah, Caine is obviously the third main character. He is the one actually making the plot happen. Whenever Caine isn't in the room, everyone is asking "Where's Caine?"

I'm out if the loop with all the drama, but the reason people gravitate to pomni, jax, and caine, including the writers, is because most of the cast is just straight up redundant. Ragatha is a nice girl. Well, so is pomni. Zooble hates herself. So does jax. Gangle is a nervous wreck who finds strength in other. Literally pomni's character arc. Bubble is a wacky fourth wall breaking character. Caine already has that niche covered. Kinger is a wacky non-sequitor spitting goofball with connections to the circus and a dark side? Caine again. Half the cast could be trimmed and we'd literally lose nothing.

It isn't some grand coomer conspiracy. The writers only had enough writing "talent" for 2.4 actual characters and they put all that effort into the original three.

"Why did Jax suddenly start getting more screentime?"

Character popularity contest:

Even before this poll came out, it was pretty clear he was getting really popular very early on.

Similar situation to X-Men. Wolverine was never meant to be the main character of the franchise, he was just supposed to be some hot-headed rube that Hulk fought. But every time he appeared he kept getting more and more popular so they kept expanding his role to the point where this happened:

Also shoutout to the fact that Ragatha is near the bottom and this entire super gay overblown non-issue started because redditors were upset about her not getting as much screentime. Goose overreacted but I gotta say I'd be pretty frustrated too if I was giving nerds exactly what they said they wanted and heard them complain when they got it.
I'm looking at the numbers but I'm not believing it. Ragatha was always my favorite, I have to imagine I'm not alone on that front. Near the bottom is crazy. Although Zooble being lower than her despite being Goose's self insert is pretty funny.

25K votes is still nothing to sneeze at. That's a hell of a lot of people who like Ragatha. Even Caine, at the damn bottom, has like 13K. Plus you gotta keep in mind the sample size might be screwed because, hey, how many people do you know who are gonna vote in a webtoon poll?

Fun fact, Daisy Bell was the first song to be sung by a computer.
I like those little details in the show (like the Chinese Room), I’m always suspicious of anything involving troons but I’m liking it a lot so far.
Hopefully it can actually end, I genuinely don’t see it going more than one season because it’s a premise that can’t go super long especially considering how things are coming to a head.
My personal hope and prognostication is that we will see Caine attempt to edit Zooble’s mind and abstract her in the process, I genuinely think that even though she’s the creator’s pet that is the most likely scenario from a writing perspective and would absolutely track with how Caine operates. He only wants them to have fun, by any means necessary, and he’s getting more fed up with and obsessed with Zooble as she refuses to play along and it clearly maddens him.
But who knows, it’s a tranny so things going to shit is always a possibility.

So what’s the truth? Did his parents send him to one of those messed-up wilderness camps? And if they did something that bad, why are they in contact with him now? He also mentions toys like “zoobs” inspiring Zooble… so his parents were abusive but also bought his toys? Maybe they found a solution to keep in touch, but it seems very mismatched. Obviously abusive parents aren’t always cruel - moments of levity keep the victim dependent - but it just seems like an inconsistent story. “Yeah my parents sent me off to a delinquent concentration camp because I would masturbate to pictures of penises and I got my brain zapped, but now we’re cool and talk about I Spy books and laugh at Adult Swim together”. Iunno. Feels off, though I concede this is conjecture.
There's a few plausible explanations here. One is that the parents didn't realize what these places are really like when they sent them, they apologized, admitted they blew something minor massively out of proportion, and time has done the rest. Another is that as a kid they were doing things that were a lot worse behaviourally than they want to admit publicly which makes it less clear that "send your kid away for a while" was an unreasonable reaction.

I know two people who were sent to places like this. One is on good terms with their parents because their story was basically the first example I gave. She think her parents were tricked and misled and just see it as a mistake they made (a massive one, but still). Her parents pulled her out from it and are extremely remorseful about the whole thing.

The other wishes she could reconcile with them, but feels like she can't because they're unrepentant and still convinced it was a good decision. Importantly, she does still want a good relationship with them, but this is just too much of a sticking point. Neither of them did things that would 'deserve' being sent somewhere like this (the first had an eating disorder and the place was marketed as "therapeutic" rather than punitive, the second was groomed and their parents blamed them instead of the groomer). But neither of them hate their parents, even though one has very complicated feelings. In that case, it's more of a tragic "I wish things didn't have to be this way" than "I hate them and hope they're miserable because I don't speak to them".

In the real world, people very rarely go "no contact" with their family. It's mainly a fantasy Redditors indulge in to stick it to Trump supporters or something stupid like that (while not cutting off their own parents, of course). I imagine it's incredibly difficult to completely sever any emotional bond you have with them and not try everything possible to repair the relationship, and only call it quits when that's simply not possible. While Gooseworx's claims about their personal life seem contradictory (almost baffling), I can imagine there are additional details/context we aren't privvy to that would make things slot into place.

the unequal anger from Goose is from her getting a lot shit for the meta "Fuck the Plot" strat.
The stuff with "Abel", right?

Yep.

Four people arguing with her on Reddit is not enough to cause this much of a breakdown. Nothing else really explains it and there's not been nothing else that Goose really has been critiqued on as far as I know.

If this were true then she'd say he's the third main character along with Pomni and Jax in that livestream. This is so retarded lol, either she never intended to have Jax as an MC or she did and her and Glitch did a fucking terrible job of illustrating that both in and out of the show

The more famous Goose has gotten, the more his lolcow qualities start to leak out, like being more unnecessarily open about sexual shit:
I just want to point out what that blue man is being used for:

Now, if you think this is surprising, there were, as always, signs of this fetish in Goose (outside of just being a tranny because they're big transformation fetishists) such as this piece:

Knowing this, I wish to posit two questions to you. What do you think the chances are he gets off to the Abstraction or even the idea of the characters transforming from human to their digital avatars in TADC? Did you realize you were watching a guy's barely disguised transformation fetish?

barely disguised transformation fetish?
I don't like the idea of any kind of form change or body horror just being framed as barely disguised transformation fetish shit. That's a very goonery way of percieving shit that's been around artistically longer than people have been getting off to it. I rambled about the differences before but yeah it's horrible in retrospect being reminded the guys got that as one of several fetishes.

I wouldn't look at it that way if he didn't get off to it. I'd have a hard time believing the end scene of Scanners was being made by Cronenberg with one hand, but troons are a different sort and notably the post I replied to talked about Goose also getting more open about his sexual shit. A lot of trannies are exhibitionists in one way or another.

Edit: I forgot @YWNBAM and @Thescourer33 covered this a bit already. Shieeeeeeet. Here's an archive of the Ugovaria account as compensation.
