I found a website that lets me search deleted reddit accounts' comment histories, so that's fun. This was the only comment he made the day he deleted his shit.

Saying "how do you know she won't matter soon" like it's a fucking RWBY discussion telling people to wait until the whole show is finished before making judgment on a show with no set schedule. Stuff out of my nightmares.
 
by the way for anyone concerned, the entire script has already been written and voiced months before this drama, were not going to see hasty rewrites or stupid shit like that.
 
He did make posts about Jax going to conversion therapy, among other things, in episodes of both thinly-veiled and outright trauma dumping.
Reddit was talking about how they shouldn't say such-and-such about Jax because Goose made a post projecting onto him. He kept older ones about the conversion therapy up, but the more recent one from BlueSky has been screencapped by a fan before it got deleted.

This might be why that Redditor criticizing him, talking about Jax getting too much focus and too few consequences broke him.

"Gay Conversion Therapy" was probably just his parents making him talk to a priest or a therapist before giving up.

I’m a little surprised. He said on his Tumblr that his dad laughed at the Zach Hadel fish. That made me think he was on good terms with his parents, which is pretty rare for troons.

So what’s the truth? Did his parents send him to one of those messed-up wilderness camps? And if they did something that bad, why are they in contact with him now? He also mentions toys like “zoobs” inspiring Zooble… so his parents were abusive but also bought his toys? Maybe they found a solution to keep in touch, but it seems very mismatched. Obviously abusive parents aren’t always cruel - moments of levity keep the victim dependent - but it just seems like an inconsistent story. “Yeah my parents sent me off to a delinquent concentration camp because I would masturbate to pictures of penises and I got my brain zapped, but now we’re cool and talk about I Spy books and laugh at Adult Swim together”. Iunno. Feels off, though I concede this is conjecture.

Two theories:

1) They had problems with their parents but they've sorted them out.

2) Goob never actually went to conversion therapy and the rant was just based on shit xim saw in TV shows and movies. Not even saying they lied, just saying it's entirely possible this rant wasn't based on personal experience. Maybe it was just an attempt to virtue signal while also promoting their Jax abuse fetish.

I just wanted to say I think TADC is one of the few examples of media made by a troon that isn't terrible or some deep allegory about their own personal trauma (at least not at the moment). Shame that it may end up imploding on itself because of the fanbase and the lack of direction from the creator. I wonder if Glitch Production requires show to have a full pitching presentation like what Hollywood does or do they just see a cool pilot and decide to throw money at it. I mention this because I remember a couple years ago when a bunch of pitches and series-bibles leaked from Nickelodeon I was surprised to see for Avatar The Last Airbender that they already had pretty much every major plot-point, how many seasons, and what the ending would be already laid out.

I don't know if Gooseworx mentioned if there's already a set plot in his mind, but if he starts to cave to different fan theories and change elements then I worry the ending will be lukewarm.

I sadly don't have the proof on hand (I'm not saving that shit to my hard drive.) and I might have already mentioned it earlier in the thread but he used to have a secondary twitter account I think where he posted fetish shit he drew like vore but he nuked it a couple of years back? Wouldn't be surprising if it coincided with him getting picked up by Glitch.
Though the idea of a tranny having the self-awareness to know leaving it up is a retarded idea is a contradictory feeling.

I think there's just enough people on the team to keep everything in check, and keeping the showrunner off social media is a really smart decision.
