From what I recall of their Hellsing stream, they said they won't do Drifters because I think either Takahat or Kaiser didn't like it.

I will say, aside from those rape jokes the Abridged version didn't have that many memorable lines aside from just saying "Fuck" all the time. I kinda hoped he'd start making swears that didn't make sense or least have a memorable line like the Ultimate version had the "Bringing the death by motherfucking Konami"

My new pastime is going back to old Abridged series episodes back when the creators actually had a sense of humor, sorting the comments by newest first, and reading all of the "Ummmm, wow, this is totally problematic. Oof, this did not age well" replies. It happens more with LK since he was always a bit edgier.

Hellsing started out so good and then just fell off a cliff after episode 5. Switching away from the Andrew WK intro was a sign of things to come.

Not a Hellsing fan, never cared for Hellsing, so if the stuff of working the Cell saga to feel more of a proper fan dub and directing Abridged Goku's VA to sound more like Masako Nozawa and doing a bunch of things like the subs is true and any indication, then this seems like his MO.
