In my experience Paladins are always huge dicks
Dickass thief detected.

But in all seriousness; they get a worse rap than they really deserve, especially when my experience is barbs tend to cause more trouble than they do, simply because of how rarely played paladins are because of that retarded stigma. Most classes are only as bad as their players are.
With Xanathar's Guide to Everything Deluxe and Volo's Guide to Monsters Deluxe, you can do a Goliath Oath of Conquest Paladin with a greatsword. Even though the free stats of a goliath lend itself better to being a barbarian (+2 STR & +1 CON), the fact that goliaths tend to go Lawful Neutral can lend itself better to being a paladin. It also helps that goliaths are treated as one size larger than they are with none of the disadvantages and reach, but you can get around the reach problem fairly easily.
It's equally fine to just be a normal one with a great weapon. You naturally want to be fairly strong to do the most damage, and the only other stat you need to give a shit for is either WIS or CHA. And yeah that's not a typo, you can determine whether or not you use one or the other in 3.5; it's picking serene or dynamic.

With the whole shit show going on with White Wolf right now makes me glad I don't buy their shit anymore, haven't since they were being shuffled around by companies who didn't want them. I think I'll stick with Kult. Least they have the balls to keep stuff in the game and it's what I wanted Demon the Fallen to be. I'm sure I'll find a good Vampire the Masquerade alternative even if I have to change some stuff in it to suit a vampire themed game.

I suggest trying out the stuff at the Storyteller's Vault which is full of great fan-made stuff for VTM and the others. (I'm not just saying that because I have some books there.)

Where did you hear that?
They're going with completely new management and they want more control over their books. It's not the first thing I've seen companies do when they want more control over their products, with Bioware we saw them get rid of their forums without giving people time to archive anything, including any of the useful posts helping to get games to work. This also happened with Wizards of the Coast though they gave people enough time to archive the forums, luckily they did nothing with the DM Guild work, though seeing the quality of the majority of the books there I can see why they didn't.

If they don't get rid of it, expect a major change in what you can make for it. I already see some changes being made to the guidelines, but those just look like clarifications, and those were from 10 days ago before this mess happened.

The fine folks at RPG forums are remarkably mixed about the whole thing.

On one hand they seem aware this might have negative consequances for a well established and loved franchise on the other like a junkie being offered another hit they can't help themselves.
You know, it's sad that a place like Kiwifarms with its perceived history is a better RPG forum than an actual RPG forum. Pretty sure I would have been banned on any of them if I went back to my old accounts and voice my opinion on this matter.

Has anyone tried the Witcher TRPG yet? What is it like? I'm a big fan of the Witcher but I've never played a TRPG before, so I'm on the fence about buying it.

I have it, haven't taken a look past the character classes yet. Rather enjoy the artwork inside. Except for Yennefer's face in her profile. I have no idea what the artist was thinking. Her mouth is nearly as wide as Mileena's from Mortal Kombat X. Looking into crafting now and they did a decent job on that, it isn't just roll "y" an x amount of times to succeed. You have to first forage for the materials which can take hours to do before you can even craft something, probably more likely days. Then you need to spend hours actually crafting the thing. You're better off buying what you're trying to make due to the time investment, but the way they do crafting opens up quite a bit of roleplaying.

Apparently Blessed of The Traveler: Queer Gender Identity in Eberron was in the top 3% best sellers on DMGuild. I don't know who has been buying it because it's yet to be shared by anyone on any chan thread. If it's a best seller I have little hope for DMGuild material going forward.

Most likely archivists for librarys as well as how they're likely dumping them into stores in bigger batches than ordered and counting them as sales like what comic books do to pretend that they aren't failing either.

Still really hilarious to do this in an industry where the player can just stay to old editions if the new ones piss them off though.

Is there any tabletop game these days that isn't getting possed?

Which a lot of people do. There's people who just stick to 3.5 or just jump ship to Pathfinder and use 3.5 shit via conversion.

GURPS, Maid RPG, Zettai Reido, FATAL.

You can't actually lie about comic sales as there's only one comic distributor (who loves to fuck over comic book stores because of it). The only thing a comic book company can do is lie about electronic sales. There's a good reason why comic book stores keep these on the shelves, they can't send things back as that cuts into their profit as they have to pay for the shipping and also the processing. It's why they never complain about extra things being sent to them that never paid for, they just add it to the shelves.

Sin and Kult I don't think will ever have an SJW behind them just due to their content.

Thanks for the reminder. I knew I was forgetting something.
