Hang on, QTPOC? Are they just pulling acronyms out of a Scrabble bag now?
They've merged Gays, Bi's, and Lesbians into "QUEER" now. Apparently they are all the same thing.

Also, as a gaming "Palette Cleanser" I present this as a product as I love the TinyD6 system as it's fucking simple as can be:

Awhich reminds me I finally gave the new descent boardgame a shot, and man... it does some interesting things technically but the art actually gets worse when you see it in the app, and now it comes along with some cringy VN dialogs (not that I mind VNs, but weebshit at least knows how to handle it and you know what to expect).

here's a taste:

EDIT: oh ffs just noticed the dragonspawn healer has fucking pronouns. not mentioned in the blurb is that he's also all mysterious and shit who apparently ripped one of his wings off but won't tell anyone about why (inb4 "muh twist"). really shouldn't have expected anything after trannies and retarded yes queen slay in legacy of dragonholt...

and it still suffers from "why push plastic on cardboard around when I could all that shit in the app in the first place?" - it might be better integrated and extended in the app with RNG under the hood and stuff but then you literally get stupid shit like "put an enemy here" and then they remove it from the map in the display.

I would never buy a board game that requires an App to play. Its all fun and games until they don't pay their $50 to certify for the next version of the AppStore.

that's why you play it on pc where worst case you can run it in a VM (but fuck those publishers who only do android/ios)
but the FFG ones are unity, someone's gonna decompile them at some point anyway. still would prefer official open source, there's plenty of licenses they could use.

Not even that. Queer is a meaningless purr word that is more closely associated with troonery. Queer is what autistic nerds have rebranded themselves as in order to evade criticism for being autistic nerds.

Wait what? They are edging out the Gays of the hobbies now? FANTASTIC! Please let the gays side with the straights to rally against the Troons. The power of GayBux is a force to be reckoned with.

So how does high level handle in 5th edition?

I'm starting a small campaign soon where the DM is having us start at level 20 because he wants a ton of powerful and epic stuff off the bat. I'll admit, in all the years of 5th edition, I haven't gotten beyond level 10 in any games before they ended normally or the group fell apart.

Obviously, I'm expecting and preparing for a lot of magic. Not sure what class I'll choose.

Ran/Played a high level game at level 20, combat is tough for a DM at that level as you have to have lots of mooks to soak up damage, legendary saves for BBEG help get rid of those "LOL DISINTEGRATE!" spells, lair and other actions give the environment and baddies more to do that really cause chaos on the battlefield. I hope your DM is ready for some world breaking shit and to spend some time learning/going through the enemies abilities. High level means the DM has to be on their A game or combat is over in 2 rounds if that.

Honestly level 16 is the high level sweet spot as that's when you dip your toes in the high level stuff and the PC's feel VERY powerful and can definitely be taken down pegs in combat without having to feel cheesy.

I like 5e as it's highly flexible and customizable for a DM for both IN and OUT of combat actions. Is it perfect? No but it's better than Pathfinder and 4e.

This is the same shit that justified the wheelchairs in D&D. The solipsistic motherfuckers trying to act like the reason they can't play their fantasy games is because they can't see their own fantastic version of themselves 1:1 recreated. Bonus points for this gentle soul quietly going balls-deep on the soft-bigotry of low-expectations with regard to women, troons, and fags being unable to exist imaginatively outside of their own myopic reality.

Did they really spell "perusing" as "paroozing"? That is one of the oddest misspellings I've ever seen.

"post artisans of splendent vale age"

The post mousetrap age certainly was something. Kind of a mixed bag like post the game of life or post parcheesi ages.

This guy is trying too hard to get ANYONE to suck his dick after he swallows hard on theirs.

If it's this faggot you can clearly see he wants to be pegged with any phallical object possible:

Went through more of Thirsty Sword Lesbians yesterday:

It actually turns out there is a single nugget of gold in this one; the Dangerous Violets setting is shockingly competent. It's actually a good setting idea, and the writer for it had little things like competent adventure hooks, ways to play for or against the upper crust in their fancy sky cities, it takes place in what used to be the Netherlands and is what I'd arguably call a somewhat unique take on aesthetics, since it threads the line between Steam and Dieselpunk. Calling it Decopunk, since I can't think of a term for something more based on the 1910s to 1930s like this setting is made from.

It's still pozzed, but I could see playing this setting with a better gaming system. I would actually pay a small amount of cash for a copy of it alone.

I think Art Decor is usually the term for it, innit? Bioshock used that aesthetic extensively and I love it. (As did FFXIV for their overarching villains).

Niggas, i come to you in time of great need. Got invited to a Cyberpunk Red session on Sunday, I'm familiar with CP2020 but not with Red. Before I dunno an entire evening into reading the rulebook I want to know your opinion. Is it worth getting into, what are your experiences, and what key differences are there between it and 2020?

Let's be honest-he doesnt have any lgbt or poc friends, this reads like a corporate press statement not an organic human view.

*Art Deco(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Deco) with a healthy dose of Futurism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurism) mixed in. It's a lovely aesthetic that I have a theory for why it's underappreciated/underused because I think Bioshock (for better or worse) leaned into it so strongly that everyone just associates it with that particular game world.

You, my dude, are a hero for reading through that mess. (I got a hold of the PDF myself, albeit the version with less art, and my god, just wait until you get to the glossary of woke terms in the back. Possibly the worst part is that the author can't properly define "lesbian" as a woman who likes to get freaky with other women, despite it supposedly being the entire premise of this game, even in the title.)
