At this point I'm mostly looking forward to the new fighter just for the salt. Whoever it is, there's gonna be so many upset butts.
 
DK64 DK for smash. All 5 low-poly Kongs switchable like shulk’s monado each with a good-but-not-great fighting style applicable to a specific range. Make the kong swap take a second so it’s punishable. package it with a final boss krool assist trophy and scrolling Kong Island stage.

Give us the goods, nintendo.

I hate to break it to you, but if you're finding this kind of info on who the next fighter is, 99% percent of the time it's coming from an attention whore looking to get there fifteen minutes of fame by "leaking" info that could coincidentally come true.
Don't even trust Vergeben, because the only part of his "leaks" that's both actually true and almost exclusively attributed to him is Incineroar. And even then, it was pretty obvious we were going to get a Sun and Moon fighter, simply because it was the most recent Pokemon gen during Ultimate's initial development cycle.

I mean, Geno is a doll with no soft bits so if there is anyone who gets to claim non-binary it is the magical star spirit that possesses a doll and finds out that Dolls in the setting are like Ken Dolls. Just imagine that poor peon

Leffen is just really weird and "off", I hate to say it not just as a fellow Swede and the fact he is a great player but he's never consistent with his emotions, one second he hails Smash Ultimate as the greatest game known to mankind and the next second he's threatening to quit talking about how terrible the controls, inputs etc are, basicly anything he can find to target. He really needs his own thread at this point.

Or they have an even bigger meltdown than they did with hero if Dante’s faithfully adapted as far as options go. Even if they remove 2 of the styles due to blocking and dodging being baked in mechanics, Dante’s moveset is absurdly broad.

Man oh man, it's gonna be hella fun watching the smash fandom burn as a result of Byleth's addition. The chat alone during the direct made my day. :story:
And there's gonna be six more after this. Hoes will remain mad for a good two years
(for the record I don't think adding byleth was a good idea, it's probably samurai's dumbest decision yet)
 
Oh it's a fire emblem character, and it's even better.

Even better when Sakurai is making fun of them and adding a lot of variety.

The most ironic part is that these people complain about too many Fire Emblem characters yet keep requesting more and more mario characters
