I love how they complain about the roster simply because of a few fighters they didn't want (or assist trophies they wanted as fighters), and then claim that Sakurai and Nintendo (but mostly Sakurai) don't listen to the fans.

Meanwhile, the current roster happens to include
Every fighter from every previous Smash title, including Snake, Wolf, and the Ice Climbers​
Ridley​
Simon Belmont​
King K. Rool​
And even BANJO-KAZOOIE​

The best part from Sakurai was him expressly stating "The new DLC characters are already chosen, please don't spam my twitter with suggestions. It won't matter."
 
Surprised that no one is talking about the fact that sakurai reinforced the fact that smash isn't a fighting game.

Did anyone genuinely not expect Byleth to make it in from the beginning? I bet you that was decided before Three Houses was even announced.

I mean, 3 houses was announced alongside the switch, though it didn't get titled until later. Originally it was going to release prior to smash bros as well, but it was delayed.

oh yeah I forgot about that first announcement. I still think it was planned out before the release date at least.
