I think part of the joke with Leffen is that he usually has a point, but he’s such an ass most of the time that noone gives a shit. The joke with Sonicfox is that he’s an outrageously good player who would be the single most embarassing motherfucker in the history of the community if he couldn’t put up the numbers.

Yeah. They accidentally linked Simon (or some Castlevania character) early by accidentally renaming one of the music tracks on the website to a Castlevania song. It's not direct proof, but it's substantial enough that people are making that conclusion.
 
God I can't wait for the K. Rool and Ashley salt. Smash is the gift that keeps on giving.
 
The whole Smash4 Finals really shows how disconnected the Smash community is from the FGC. Whining about Bayonetta being OP? They would have never survived Marvel vs Capcom 2 with MSS vs MSP in every single match, or SF3S with Chun Li vs Ken. Also, cheap shit is embraced in the FGC, maybe it's because the FGC is poverty and you gotta do what you gotta do. This is really showcased at EVO2013 where the Smash community fucking hated Wobbles for wobbling (using Ice Climbers' infinite) but the FGC crowd started marking out for it and he became a fan favorite.

Expecting some twatty fans wanting 90 character roster and still be unhappy. Sometimes I wish Smash Bros would just not exist anymore with how how the salty and needy fans are.

Oh what I have with most Smash fans is when a new character is introduced, I.E Cloud and the rumoured Simon Belmont is the said fan claiming they either know the character and their origins or claim they are the best player when all they battle is either Low/High CPUS and don't try to fight anyone online or friends.

Most only like the characters because they are "cool". Seen this common with Cloud fans who barely know of Final Fantasy VII and just look at pictures of him.

Picking a top tier has always been a thing in fighters. It goes as far back as picking O. Sagat in ST.


It's just something to expect. You don't cry about it.
 
This is gonna be some good salt indeed. The Crissaegrim being present might make a couple of the old timey Castlevania spergs come out of the woodwork too since they get far, far too angry over that thing.

The guy is right that Little Mac is a playable character that was once an assist trophy. But there has never been a character who was one an assist trophy become playable in the very same game.

These people so hopelessly trying to latch on to a character being playable are pathetic. Be thankful your character is even acknowledged, especially when the rest of the world doesn't care a single fraction as much as you do about them. It's a popularity contest, and throwing a huge pissy fit because nobody else likes your niche franchise isn't helping.
