Tarl needs to do his best to plea out and do his time anywhere other than jail in Louisiana. It's been brought up several times in the BMJ thread, but many criminals view jail as worse than prison. Prison is much more highly regulated than jail. Inmates are divided up by thing such as crime, violence risk level, race, gang affiliations, etc. There is an order to thing both established by the administration and staff as well as by the prisoners themselves. Shotcallers and lifers like to keep things calm both because it's their life and it fucks with business. They're there for years or decades at a time. Dumbasses know not to rile up the COs and get lockdowns and searches called.

Jails are chaos in comparison. Guys constantly coming and going. There may be large open squad bay style housing with dozens of inmates instead of 2-4 man cells. The commissary also sucks, both in the offerings and the amount you can spend at it. Tarl, who gets beat up by fat women, might walk into his pod and the first guy he sees is some gangbanger on trial for multiple homicides. I don't even want to think about the feral pavement apes they have in the New Orleans lockup.

Say hi to Tarl's new friends!
I've heard stories about the Orleans Parish jail from guys that have been in there. He's in for quite the wake up call. Commissary in prison is usually orders of magnitude cheaper than in county jails, where they can set their own prices at the whims of Jimbo the sherrif and not be beholden to larger federal eyes. Styx is going to be issued worn ancient gym shorts and an orange onsie and is going to be spending $30 each for a pair of cotton boxers and a white t-shirt. The guards there give absolutely no fucks unless there's a big loud bloody reason to interfere with inmate affairs. He's going to be terrified and be head down in the corner and will likely request to be in solitary lock up. He'll get out and do a video on the substandard quality of jail food. Apparently the food was so bad but the guards were so lax that they'd allow doordash to the jail.
But yeah being in there with the entire spectrum of guys charged with multiple murders to drugs to sex offenders all waiting trial or serving a year or less it's going to be a shitshow. His only access to the outside world will be a greasy inmate phone with a 12 inch cable that he will have to ask Deonte permission to use, and even then it will be only if he gives over an hour of minutes first.
I can imagine he's nervously looking up "orleans parish jail commissary" on reddit right now and trying to coach his house mate on his new twitter posting TTPs.

I'd be impressed if he pulls it off. Canada will reference US records before allowing entry. A DUI gets people refused and I can't imagine warrants like this fly. I can't see him playing his cards right in Mexico to actually pay bribes to not be bothered, more likely they take his money and bounce his ass stateside anyway. Airports and Seaports both have outbound customs. It's mostly cursory checks to ensure you have your paperwork and won't be immediately bounced back, but they'll also check for open warrants. It sounds like this one is serious enough not to slip through the cracks. Unless he was on Zoom at the airport he's unlikely to leave before their system is updated to reflect the warrant. A private flight is a theoretical avenue for getting out of the country but you need to not be a broke, gay pirate to pull that off.
Canada is really strict. My Uncle who was a real train hopping hobo had committed food stamp fraud. They wouldn't even let him pass through in a car my Dad was driving on their way to Alaska.

Yo, Louisiana has a different legal system (?), and Kay Griggs had some interesting things to say about that system's proximity to "The Firm"—show trial of useful idiot chaos agent asset incoming?

Sam now giving advice to the guy she had put in jail in the first place and continued to fuck over by communicating with him and letting him pay her rent LOLOL what a fucking bum bitch. Imagine you openly suck dick for a living but you're so bad at it you can't even pay your fucking rent. and a single mom to boot, oof

This just proves what a narcissistic cunt she is, this is all for her own entertainment. She could have saved him all this trouble by just blocking his number. Instead she was out here asking him for money and still playing the victim. She loves the drama and attention, just like Nikki.

Louisiana law is mostly based on Roman law via the Napoleonic code vs English common law in the rest of the US. doesn't really apply much to criminal law which is mostly in line with federal law.

I still cant wrap my head around the idea of becoming a fugitive when your sole source of income is making content on the internet. Usually if you're a fugitive isnt the goal to go off grid and become as undetectable as possible? Imagine thinking its a long term possibility to just continue making youtube videos while having active warrants in multiple states. And the more he just kicks this can down the road, the more trouble he'll be in once he gets caught.

Judge: Your camera is not on!

Tarl: Yes I know.. uhh lemme... uhhgh lemme try to get this on (sigh). I'm sorry but zoom is a little bit different than it used to be. Uhhhh lets see.. this might give ... this might take a second ... my apologies
I watch a lot of court on YouTube and this is a really good way to piss off a judge.

They'll be like, "IT'S ALREADY BEEN 6 YEARS!"

Also, do you think he actually believes that his VT warrant magically went away and was sealed?

I would say 90 to 95% of warrants are bench warrants, so police aren't actively looking for you. They'll take you to jail if you ever get pulled over or have an interaction with police.

And why exactly couldn't a guy who's been uploading videos to youtube almost every day for the past 15 years figure out how to turn a webcam on?

You know exactly why, he knew kiwi bros would be in there and he’s embarrassed of his fucked up teeth and knew the judge was going to slap his weak ass around for being such a fuckup. It’s that simple, fragile ego shit

This might be a measure of how much his online persona means to him. He needs his dwindling pool of ass kissers to reflect who he is back to himself.

In return, he treats these sycophants like mushrooms.

It's so fucking easy to turn your webcam on in zoom.

You can even test it out before your meeting just to make sure you know where the buttons are. I know he wouldn't do that; he knows where the buttons are. But still, no excuses.
